A Call For Transparency!

I have been active for a few days now in eJapan, and among the new coming citizens who have taken up the Elitist "We know more then you attitude" a common argument is that if only you knew really about the debates that are ongoing with the Kazawanese officials who are occupying our territories, for free might I add. I don't know about you all but if I am going to get fucked, I like to be taken out to dinner and movie first. In short why aren't the Kazawanese being the friends you all are calling them and paying rent for regions? Hell, they don't even pay in currency let alone gold.

And if we truly are the mislead ones you claim us to be and don't know what is going on then it is because our president and her cabinet are truly secretive and refuse to let it be that way. On the forums I see more talk of immigration then we do about our foreign policy this greatly disturbs me as there is no plan regarding gaining our regions other then we must suck up to our oppressors. Where are the long term talks of getting our act together so we may be re-admitted into TERRA? This country reminds me of eRepublik's famous headless chicken running around clueless.

The sheep herd mentality among many of the eJapanese citizens is quite confusing, we are at a time where we are told that if we do not agree with the president and her secretive plans that we are wrong and must shut up. In fact it seems there is growing discontent among many players looking for change and openness, I for one would like to hold our government accountable. When I was CP over a year ago we had regular articles being put out to let the citizens know what was going on and what we are up to, I see none of that here. In such trying and dark times for an eNation it is what is needed to keep activity going, we need to know what the government is up to, where is the accountability?

isn't this one of the things tat was laid out in the righteous doctrine was for u to be independent strong and t inform the citizens of all information that is going on. correct me if im wrong but im sure it was there (just like i was when it was being written)

Zabriel I am on the forums and there is nothing! Also eJapan does not take place on the forums! Some citizens are not on there, and it should be written in game for those who aren't.

And in answer to your question, YES all citizens should know what is going on. Not everyone has as much time as the next to dedicate to forums and keeping up with the game! But that does not mean they care any less then the next eJapanese citizen.

hey letigerr i work 18 hour days i don't have much time to get on forums and sift through posts are you going to tell me that i shouldn't be playing erepulik. why don't you think for a second that some people have stressful an highly demanding jobs that require them to work a lot of damn hours.

Yes, all citizens have the right to know what is going on. Sumeragi has posted many articles "in game" as things develop. Actually, more than most CPs I remember.

You should post a question or topic on the forum that you would like to be discussed.
Chances are, thats all that is needed to address whatever it is you want to know.
Every effort has been make to make this administration as transparent as possible.

What is it you want to know? I've heard no specific question.
