WTF people!
Seriously.
Now some people are demanding Elizabeth Jones be "banned" from political parties.
Why? Because she has ability to gather votes? OMG. How horrible!
Perhaps people like what she has to say.
Perhaps people don't care about the supposed financial viability of a defense system vs supposed tanks.
Perhaps she has the ability to connect with two clickers in a way others lack.
Just because someone does not write numerous articles expounding their own virtues does not mean they can not read others papers. Two clickers do not wish to become involved in the day to day operations of eSingapore, who can blame them? But they make their voices heard at election time.
If the voters do not like what she has done, they will not vote for her as a candidate.
The entire proceedings to date have made me yell at my computer monitor.
I am seriously disgusted with the crass and boorish behavior represented by ads, posts, and newspapers.
I am going two clicker.
I will vote for who I like.
I will donate to whom I choose.
And if anyone does not like it....They can kiss my toned, brown, ass.

Flaco, I'm sorry i think you are taking a stand over something, that you don't need to.
Elizabeth Jones came here in a flurry of activity and caused conflict, this you cannot deny, her attitude to other members of the community was nothing short of flaming, she told Arbryn who tried to give her advice, to "start doing her job".
You are taking position one for one, and one position for the other. If you believe in live and let live, then let others respond to Elizabeth Jones in a way they see fit, or maybe if you believe in what you wrote in this article send a long PM to EJ asking them to chill.
I find your loyalty very cool though.
My core problem with her is she thinks she deserves to be respected, all the while she shows no respect to others in the meantime. Its a 2 way street, you cannot pretend to respect someone in 1 article and be condescending and attack them in another and expect them to be very accepting or co-operative of your words. And she did it to quite a few people the day she ran for congress and no one had said a single word to her yet at that point yet she was already attacking them including yourself as a previous congress member and everything since has just compounded. So frankly she brought it upon herself.
I highly doubt its a coincidence she managed to have the same effect on people in 2 different places, these types of problems are not make believe. They don't just get decided by the masses to pick on THAT random person over there. There is definite cause, and now your seeing the effect. Maybe she should better learn how to speak to others in a respectful manner before if she is seeking co-operation and friends. Her chosen path of politics is ripe with mud slinging and gripe and as such this is inevitable to happen wherever she goes.
Just as you and most others are very kind and respectful to others Flaco you earn your position in congress through these kinds of virtues and no one ever attacks you like this, even if they disagree like now I don't suspect I will see any person coming on here and "attacking" you in any manner. 95%+ of anyone else who has ran for congress also had a good experience like you. But as is the case there are always those bad apples people online that gotta be a trouble maker or something to "prove" and cause issues. EJ is one of those people weather on purpose or unintentional, EJ is not a people person and places herself on a higher pedestal then the people around her as if they would not notice, yet she pretends at the same time she is not.

First of all, I shall state that I will not add to the comments on EJ. I see no fruitful purpose in me expounding my views on her actions.
I just hope that you would reconsider being a two-clicker, Flaco. Being a small state, eSingapore requires every one of her citizens to be involved, in some way, in citizen life. In the event this message is construed as an attack on two-clickers I beg for your reinterpretation of this message. Understandably, many of us - myself included, have RL issues which require us to, at times, take a backseat, while the active citizenry contribute. Nonetheless, we should not simply remain 'inactive' all the time. How can, or rather, why should a person be constantly apathetic towards events which affect them? I think this is a chronic problem festering in eSingapore.
In any case Flaco, if you are indeed tired of politics surrounding our tiny nation, then I ask for you to take a backseat. Not that you should be a two-clicker, but rather, just take a break. Occasionally read some newly-posted articles or take a quick browse of the forums. Some of them, like ExoM7, light up my otherwise dreary day in school.
I do sincerely hope that you will reconsider your position on this issue. 🙂

She considers my calls for her to present something other than flowery words and promises she cant keep as an "attack". she read my article where I critiqued everyone that I could find's congressional proposals and went off the deep end.
Flaco, I dont think you should two click. I feel you might need to take a harsh look at EJ and what she's done and realize that all the flack she's getting is deserved for her arrogance and dis-respect to the congress of eSingapore.
If you did that, I think you'd see why the people of this nation have an issue with EJ and how they dont have an issue with you as you are the exact opposite of ej
