Join the new world

Here I was planning to write a thoughtful article about why I'm going to quit eRepublik and what my deep reasons were. But, I couldn't even login. eRepublik no longer logs in for me in firefox so I've to use Explorer, really that's fine but wait! that's not it...there's much more wrong with this game (if it can be called a game..). Ever since V2 was released gamers have been expressing their rage and hate for it and even now as hundreds of people quit the admins seem to not care.

I really don't care that much about the game at all, it's the people that play it that matter. I wouldn't be here if it was some stupid strategy game without it's social part. Why would I waste my time for that? There's so many people and so many friendships I've made along these months of playing and that's what counts. As long as eCanada's ok and the DAL is doing good I focus fully on socializing with my fellow players. Now, the admins have ruined their game and lost their gamers. I was going to quit because I need to focus on more important things in life than internet and games. I need to actually live it.


I'm sure there are people here who are great at balancing friends, family and eRepublik but I'm not one of them. And as I've been playing this game for more than a year I have had allot of time to try and change, but I wasn't able to. So the clear choice is just to let go of it all together.

I'd like to come back some day but now that this game completely sucks, why would I..? Because of my friends, the people who have kept me here all along. So don't worry guys, I won't be completely gone. I'll try to stop by and say hi, but I wouldn't be surprised if my citizen spends most of the time dead.

Now that eRepublik is near rock bottom it is safe to say that the admins completely screwed this one up. Because really...they could've made it through the beginning of V2, if only they hadn't ignored public pleads and sinically pretended everything was fine.


I hope to be able to write one more article of a shot-out to the ones who have affected my time here more deeply but sincerely, it's the one country that made it all great. It's eCanada!!


I won't be leaving just yet as I have stuff to take care of and positions to quit :/ but I'll be out of internet until september from the 11th of this month so I won't see this crappy game again for a while.


The Game is a Game, You, The People are what make it playable!!
