A belated apology

Day 835, 11:45 Published in Netherlands Netherlands by Thomas Fairfax

Hallo all, I must again use my newspaper to make a brief detour...

Firstly, there must be some apologies. The first is to ArtemIvanov. I was the Minister of Media and Health in Artem's recent government, and I think it is not arrogance to say I did an OK job. But at the end of his government, I did start to have some difficulty, and I didnt have time to write the article summarising the government's achievements. I apologise to everyone for that.

The second apology is to Frerk. I am also Minister of Media and Health in the current government, or more appropriately, I was. I have recently chosen to resign from this position, as due to other pressures I do not have the time or motivation to do the job properly. I have decided to concentrate on less demanding work in the Libertarian Party and on my own newspaper writing, where I do not have such a strong responsibility to the public.

I believe that the citizens of the UNL deserve to have a minister who can do the job as well as it can be done, and at this time I cannot commit to do that. The third apology is therefore to the general public, who I can no longer serve to the degree required.

I would like to avoid hypocrisy, knowing that I often demand alot from government in the UNL. I have chosen to resign and allow a better candidate to fill the position, rather than sit in the job as an inactive minister. Considering all this, I hope you accept my apologies.
