FOUR MORE WEEKS! FOUR MORE WEEKS! FOUR MORE WEEKS!
Yes we can have four more wonderful weeks. It's that time again, time to campaign for the Indiana Congressional seat. I believe I served you all well, and I'd love to serve you all again. In this article you'll see my past platform and my changes from that, what I did while I was in congress, and plans for my next term to make the USA better as well as better Indiana.
Last Month's Platform, and changes
You'll find my last month's platform in that link. While I have changed some stances, the majority hold true. I learn while in congress that my tax plan wasn't ideal and some of the better Economic minds came up with a 1% VAT and a 10% income. I agree that this is the best way to do things, and we've began implementing that. I still stand by my import taxes, except for one part. We need to keep diamonds and iron down at 1%. These industries can't stand on their own without imports, so we need to encourage imports. Once we start getting a steady stream of imports I will suggest we think about raising it up to 10%, just enough to keep the US diamonds and iron viable.
Since I won't have some personal problems I had this month I'll be able to continue the lottery, which has yet to really get a lot of interest. We'll see what happens with that, but if there isn't a lot of interest I think we might have to scrap it, and come up with a new way to raise money for a wellness program and a new hospital. But that will be in my February campaign.
As far as the MPPs I'm glad to see we are continuing with Atlantis MPPs. These are necessary and will hold a great benefit to this nation. As for the war in France, I believe we need to finish the job Atlantis started. And by we I mean Atlantis. We are there to liberate Switzerland and take out all of the French nation. If we do this then we will have resistance wars that will only help our soldiers strength. If Atlantis decides it wants to finish this war we can do it within 6 or 7 battles a country (UK, Sweden, US, Spain, and maybe Canada). But this is not congress's decision. Our only option is if we want to start the war, and I would not go back and change my vote.
The Past Month
There's been a lot going on the past month, if you would like to read how I voted on the bills and a little explanation, then go to my first and second weekly updates. I'll probably have a third one for the final week later today or tomorrow. We'll see how stuff goes.
My Opposition
Currently I'm running against 2 opponents, JaMat and Wilson Pollack. I have not had any contact with Wilson, nor do I know what he's done or what he stands for. If he puts up a presentation, then I may be able to comment on it, but right now his campaign is silent (but deadly?
JaMat has put forward two articles, one which was very inflammatory towards myself and my party and a second which reiterates his platforms from the first article. I know JaMat from the National Guard (I gave him his start as an officer there!) and I have talked with him. He would like to have a debate with me which I am all for. I would like to counter some of the ideas he's put forward though.
First and foremost, I am not running as anything but a Nationalist. I believe strongly in everything that is in the Nationalist Party's Manifesto. If I was forced to move to a top 5 party I would not declare myself that party, but I would put forward that I am a Nationalist who was forced by the admins ridiculous rules to run as that party. I was elected as a Libertarian, but even while I was campaigning there were plans to create the Nationalist Party. Anyone on IRC would know that I was talking about RAMROD (Real Americans Making Real Outstanding Decisions, our original party name before NP) before the election, and as a founding member I only saw it right to join the party. I was unhappy with the LiBs activity and decided it'd be best if I left and started a new very active and exciting party. I saw it as a challenge, and it has been, but a fun challenge.
Secondly, there is nothing "extremist" in any of my platforms or my party's stances. I am not for world domination, unnecessary war, or any of the other garbage that's been spewed by the USWP. We are not a military based party. We believe in a strong military, but not in a military leadership. Our PP and party VP are members of the military, but the USWPs president is also a military man. Is there something wrong with military men being in politics? George Washington was in the military, was he a terrible president for it? There are plenty of former military members in RL congress, are they terrible congressmen? Is the USWP's president unqualified because of his military service? If you win the congressional seat, JaMat, are you going to resign your military position and end your career in the military? I prefer to support the country in 2 ways, military and congress, and if that's a problem, then there's a lot of 2 way players who are wrong.
As for his platforms, the war is not unjust, what is unjust is the Swiss people living under French power. While I don't 100% condone holding French land, it's in our nation's interest to hold it so that PEACE does not gain another nation. I will also state that we should allow for France to try to start a resistance war against us. If they are successful, then they should be a nation, but if they are not, then we should continue to hold their land. It's a little imperialistic, but it's for our national security to hold a PEACE country.
Economically, it may be tough for new players right now, and I am for a national wellness program to help them get on their feet. But as for the wages, they are right fine, and if they keep going up, the cost of products will go up. Right now the military arms it's troops, so there's no expense there. If you make the national average wage (around $9) you can afford Q2 food and a Q1 gift if you have a gifting partner. That's more than I was able to afford when I was a new player. If you are smart with your money you can get on your feet very quickly as a new player, and within a week of playing you should be able to buy a few gifts and daily food with your money.
As for his foreign policy, I don't understand how much stronger our ties can be with our allies. We have MPPs with them, we send them Tanks, and they send tanks to us, and our presidents converse frequently. We need to continue this, and if that "strengthens" our bond then so be it, but I believe we are about as strong of allies as can be.
So Indiana, make the right choice and make it 4 more weeks of strong, experienced, and dedicated leadership.

We need experienced leadership during this transition. In my opinion, the opposition candidate hasn't done anything except point to problems without suggesting any realistic solutions. Let Kyle continue his good work. Return him to Congress

Tanks? Where are these tanks? I haven't seen a single tank. We are essentially tankless...
Tanks are players who are extremely high strength (9-10+) and very high rank. I can not disclose how many tanks the US has, but they can take down a wall in a matter of minutes (see the first battle of Limousine). Every country has tanks, and they are non-political so they can go anywhere and fight. Odds are the US tanks aren't even in the US right now.
