7.Warts and all: Erepublik programming design blunders(the rocket)

Ohhh I have a rocket im gonna cream myself everyone went yesterday. Followed by a massive overhysteria of let me try it out let me try it out.

This noob change will blow over quickly. why simple because the rocket has a 1ow hit value. I could only afford the cheapest one. So if the other ones has multiple hits my bad. Actually when I launched the hit the window shook like the game tilted. I didnt receive any reward for the hit. Only later did I see that the hit was actually recorded.

Why is this a blunder. Lets look at the real forces driving it which was not military technology rather the downwards economy. This is the Erepublik version of the greek handout.

But still what is your problem? My problem is that the damage value of the weapons you consume would be far more than the actual damage of the rocket. 10 Q6 weapons equals 40 hits equals atleast 90000 damage.

What would be the one thing that could save this fail. Mmmm let me think: What about:More than one rocket. yes since you cannot build up rockets there is almost no strategic value in them. If you could this would be a good alternative to the bazooka:yet smaller income players would not be able to compete with 50 level 5 rockets. So perhaps introduce more buildings and allow the massing of the level 1 rocket only😛erhaps dropping its damage. But still how they came up with the damage is beyond me. Perhaps I will add another article later comparing the weapons consumed vs the rocket.
