The eUSA government was allegedly late to make payment under contract with ePortugal for the return of 14 Portugal occupied U.S. States during WWIII. In section 4.A, the contract asserts a monthly payment of 100 g to be made to the Portugal treasury for five months. In the event payment is not made on time (by the 21st of the Month) the US is subject to "a single fine of 5,000 GOLD."

Err, "yesterday" = the 21st in this case. eRep time rounding fails.

They were actually stipulating that we should've paid on the 20th (that's the day I reminded people to pay Portugal) instead of on the 21st, which is when we did pay.
Doesn't matter anyway, though, cos the contract isn't valid.
