California lost.
Aegean-Islands secured.
Slavonia secured.
Catalonia back in Spanish hands.
Ontario back in Canadian hands.
Asturias back in Spanish hands.
I know many of you are disappointed about losing Cali, but you have to see the big picture:
We won on 5 out of 6 fronts. The very valuable Asturias is back in friendly hands and we've forced the Indos to spend at least 12k gold for securing Cali while we barely spent nearly that much even if you account the attacking costs of 700g.
We are the financial and overall winners.
Allies
An alliance is only as strong as its unity and the willingness of each of the members to sacrifice for each other.
Ex-ATLANTIS had to learn this the hard way but we have indeed learned from it.
Seemingly unlike PEACE, where all the major members seem to follow their own agenda - how else could one explain that Indonesia decided to blow a fortune in order to hold Cali, which mainly is of a mere ideological worth to them as they don't like defeats, instead of helping their ally France securing the way more valuable high iron region in Asturias?
Hope
Our day to take Cali back will come soon enough.
Be assured that our allies won't forget our sacrifices as we didn't forget about the sacrifices they've made to help us in the past.
The fun has just begun. This war is far from being over. Hold your head high and be proud of what we've accomplished as a nation that was on the brink of extinction.

Pretty impressive numbers if you ask me, especially if you consider that there was no governmental funded tanking on our side at all - so all those tank fights were done by private citizens on their own dime - if that's not dedication, I don't know what is.
The eUS alone did 1.5 million damage through regular fights - PEACE was only able to keep up by spending massive amounts of gold.
We can rinse and repeat, but for how long can they keep up with that spending?
Gratitude
I want to use this article to thank the Allies and all of the citizens who showed great dedication by spending their savings for buying weapons, personal tanking and donating for the good cause and who sacrificed their health by berserking.
I was very moved by many of the donations to our tanking org and the associated PM's - many young and poor citizens are still living in a shack because they've chosen to donate the gold they had saved up for a new house.
Others who already drained all their resources due to the long drawn-out war decided to donate goods like weapons, gifts and even food in order to help the good cause.
In the name of the eUS Military and also personally I want thank you all. You ROCK!
This is what makes eRep worth playing in spite of all the bugs, glitches, drama and performance issues: The Community.
Last but not least I want to thank PEACE for keeping this game interesting for all of us. My respect for some of our enemy's is just as great as for our allies.
Outlook
Indonesia might be on the offensive against us for now, but the past and especially this war has clearly shown that not only the fate of the war but also the fate of Empires can change very quickly in the New World.

Sad but true, PEACE lost so many important battles in a single day for the same reason for which ATLATIS lost - everyone started pursuing their own agendas, got greedy and started quarreling.
I hope we learn our lesson from this day and our new GS restores our unity. Then you won't have it so easy 🙂

@ Desparye: It's hard to make PEACE bankrupt and win a war of attrition since right now the major PEACE countries are spending YOUR MONEY - the money which would have been in the eUSA, eCanada, and eSpain treasuries if your high-resource regions hadn't been occupied.
Surprising PEACE with well-coordinated attacks and trying to divide it politically have proven to be much more successful methods.
Sorry to see Cali wasn't recaptured, but those other 5 battles were pretty important too. We'll get Cali back, eUSA is not alone in the fight to regain it's regions! Your allies stand with you!

Making PEACE spent almost 20 times what we've spent on a single battle is at least a start, Grakulan 🙂
Even when we still had all of our regions and and intact economy we weren't making 14-15k gold a month - so although of course the tax revenue from our conquered regions pays for some of the costs, it's barely anything compared to the sum spent on 1 day in order to hold them.
And I doubt that even with all her savings and valuable revenue producing regions Indonesia can keep spending that kind of gold every other day 😉
5 out of 6 regions secured/returned to their ORIGINAL country. I'd say this has turned into a war of liberation and despite all propaganda people tend to fight harder for their "own" regions than regions occupied.
This is only another proof on how difficult it is to keep to many regions/nations under control against their will.
Within a week we'll have Madrid and California back, then we'll start kicking some russian ass!
Asturias was almost close call, only on the last few minutes did the wall go down and stay there. Same case was with Catalonia, as I recall. Epic fights, epic wins. We'll get Cali for you, eUSA, don't worry about that! It did take few takes on Asturias to get it back too, so it might take few takes on Cali, but eventually, it will be reunited!
Indo attacking us has added Spain back to our MPPs in that war, once they get a hostpital, and Canada adds another in Ontario or Quebec, there will be many more allies able to help us directly from home cheaply take back CA.

Aegean Islands/Greece is untouchable.
PEACE picked the one they felt they wanted to win, pulled out their credit cards, and made it happen.
In the meantime, they lost the economic heart of Canada, two high resource regions in Spain, (including the critical iron region of Asturias-- wonder how long it will be before those shuttered iron companies will be ramping up, and exporting to EDEN/Fortis countries again), and a shot at a critical region in Croatia, and yet another Quixotic charge on Greece.
If you're American, you will feel some disappointment about California.
But, you should also be ecstatic about Ontario, and very happy about Asturias and Catalonia, and the preservation of Croatia and Greece.
Over the past few weeks, it has become clear that there is a common bond between the United States and our allies. We have sacrificed so much for each other, and developed bonds which never would have been possible without the gauntlet we've been through.
Spain, Canada, Greece, Poland, and Israel have been wiped off the map at various times, and reborn. Our allies Sweden, Romania and Croatia have been threatened with overwhelming force. The US was reduced to one lonely redoubt.
Together, we will prevail.

I find it funny as hell that PEACE could have gotten 5K+ gold for California and our other regions, but instead got greedy and have coughed up up almost 3 times that much just to stop one fight.
And they will likely have to do it again when we come back.
They should have taken the treaty instead of doublng down.

I would be celebrating this as a major victory over Asturias alone. We now have our main iron supply back, reversing the disaster that followed the Spanish treasury incident.
It looks like the wind has finally gone out of PEACE's sails.
A good tatical loss of California forced all of PEACE GC to lose over the course of the day. We made them spend RL Money for Gold in California, Alot of RL money. This is money they can only spend for so long before their RL bank accounts or that of their parents are empty or at a level where more cannot be spent.
It was a 6/6 victory. A tatical loss is a Victory in the long run.
They have truly won a pyrrhic victory! Good fight all around! 🙂
