I. Speaker of the House Nominations

The top Congressional news today will be the Speaker of the House nominations. Three candidates have emerged from the process so far, Lexluthor1 (USWP-Oregon), Cromstar (The American Monarchy, non-Congressman), and Leroy Combs (AMP-California). Both Lexluthor1 and Leroy Combs have considerable experience in politics and Congress, Leroy Combs also being the current Speaker of the House. On the other hand, Cromstar is a Congressional fixture with twenty-one terms and currently the Congressional Librarian (he may even be the embodiment of the Congressional Library itself). A fourth nominee, Gnilraps received enough nominations, but has declined to run. chickenguys also holds one nomination (self-nominated) and has preemptively accepted his nomination (still requires four nominations).

II. Congressional Medal Donations
Gold continues to flow from Congressmen and women into various organizations. Popular organizations include EZ Company, the eUS Training Corps, and the eUS Airborne. A total of 65 Gold has been donated from Congressmen. Here’s a graph to illustrate.

III. Congressional Trolls?

According to Congressman Oblige an individual is messaging Congressmen and other government officials claiming to be the “Fleet Admiral of the Naval Intelligence Service,” a secret organization of the eUS Government. This organization does not exist and any messages regarding a Naval Intelligence Service should be considered suspect.

IV. Today’s Proposals

1. Donate 99999 to Congressional Budget Office. Proposed by Heero Blaze (that's me!). Standard stuff, vote YES.
2. Mutual Protection Pact with Ukraine. Proposed by Blank Keating.

V. Congressional Budget Office Requests

1. Congressman Pdeb has requested 25,000 USD for Arm America.

Oh Pizza, I clearly indicated Cromstar was not a Congressman. But the Constitution allows non-Congressmen to be Speaker of the House, so his nomination is valid.
