[DoEE] Regiment Rumble Update
Aus Ministry of Finance
G'day Australia,
LLLLEEEETTT'SSS GET REEEADY TO RRRRRRUMMMBLE!
Here's a quick update of information on the Regiment Rumble event. There may be some repeat information here, but I figured why leave anything out? I've BOLDED all the key details so feel free to skim.
Much like the Soldiers of Fortune event, you'll earn tokens for completing certain tasks, such as defeating opponents, completing Daily Orders, finishing in the Top 5 Kills of a Battle and so on but this time it is for your entire military regiment.
Players can collect Tokens for their Regiments by completing the following tasks:
3 Tokens = Every 1500 kills made by Regiment members
2 Tokens = 10 completed Daily Orders by Regiment members
1 Token = 10 completed Daily Tasks by Regiment members
1 Token = Regiment member ranks in the top 5 Kills in a Battle
1 Token = Regiment member ranks 1st in Kills in a Battle (in addition to above)
4 Tokens = Regiment member ranks in the top 5 Kills in a Campaign
1 Token = Regiment member ranks 1st in Kills in a Campaign (in addition to above)
1. Daily Regiment Competition
The top Regiments of eRepublik will be rewarded based on their daily performance. The Regiments are ranked based on the amount of Tokens their eligible members gain in a day.
The prize pool will be generated by all active Citizens:
- 20 Gold for every 1000 kills done by Citizens born before Day 2,802 0:00 eRepublik time. The minimum prize pool per day will be 30 000 Gold.
The daily prize pool will be shared between Regiments placed in the following Tiers:
- Gold Tier: 1st place and Regiments achieving 90% or more of the Tokens the 1st Regiment gained will split 60% of the prize pool
- Silver Tier: Regiments achieving 70% or more of the Tokens the 1st Regiment gained will split 30% of the prize pool
- Bronze Tier: Regiments achieving 30% or more of the Tokens the 1st Regiment gained will split 10% of the prize pool
Please notice that a Regiment can only gain rewards from one Tier per day. All eligible Regiment members will get an equal share of the Regiment’s Gold.
In addition, a Decoration is given to every member of the Regiments placed in the Tiers.
2. Top 100 Regiment Competition
Top 100 Regiments are ranked based on the total amount of Tokens their eligible members gain during the whole Event.
The prizes are following:
- A Decoration for all members of the top 100 Regiments
- +10 Energy Refill for 7 days
- Triple Daily Order reward for 7 days
In addition, a surprise Currency reward is given to 5 Regiments from the top 100. Further details to be released around Day 2,809 02:00 eRepublik time.
3. Military Unit Competition
The Military Unit side of Regiment Rumble is linked to the “Top 100 Regiment Competition” mentioned above. The total amount of Tokens gained by the eligible members of the top 100 Regiments will be summed up on a Military Unit level. This means that if a Military Unit gets many Regiments in the top 100 of the Regiment leaderboard, their Tokens will be combined. There will not be a specific leaderboard for Military Units, but your Regiments can easily be spotted and the Token amounts counted.
Top 3 Military Units
Based on the top 100 Regiments, top 3 Military Units will be rewarded with Currency in the following fashion:
- 1st place: 300 000 Currency
- 2nd place: 225 000 Currency
- 3rd place: 150 000 Currency
The rewards are given based on the performance during the whole Event, not daily. The Currency will be given directly to the Military Unit. In addition, the top 3 Military Units will receive Decorations on their profiles.
Top 10 Military Units
Based on the top 100 Regiments, top 10 Military Units will receive an Elite Status.
With the Elite Status a Military Unit is able to set their Daily Orders anywhere, and on any side, without restrictions.
General information about rewards
Please notice that all the rewards (Gold, Currency, Decorations etc. etc.) will be given after the Event has ended.
I'll summarize the key event rules:
A maximum of 50 players can contribute for one Regiment. It caps at 50 members despite who joins after so you can't game the system
😛
Citizens will contribute to the Military Unit and Regiment they are in at the beginning of the Event. If a Citizen is not a member of any Military Unit when the Event starts, he/she will contribute for the first Military Unit and Regiment he/she joins. Any contribution or progress done before joining, however, will NOT count retroactively.
Citizens registered after Day 2,802 0:00 eRepublik time cannot take part in the Event.
So be prepared and know what regiment you want to be a part of for the event. The Cabinet is working on a training war to coincide with the event. Most importantly, stay tuned to DoD for future orders.

An advice:
Give your professional opinion in those articles. We all know rules - Plato spam us with messages and alerts.
In the previous article it was important to mention that we have to quit our MUs until we find what Admins will give us as rewards and how they will be distributed. Now even if you want you can't contribute to any Australian MU.
Fighting with bazookas or with active booster?
Not it is important to find which Australian MU has a theoretical chance to enter in Top 100. Explain why they can do that and motivate MU members. For all the rest - they should keep full energy bar ready to help our friends. Wasting damage in TW will reflect to your finances if you are not careful.
Has anyone tried to work out whether you can make a profit on the event or not? Now that it is established how many tokens are needed for each tier (roughly) and an approximate daily prize pool it should be possible.
My 2 minute effort:
#1 is currently 1282 tokens. Let's say 1700 by end of the day.
Gold tier is then about 1500 tokens (4 regiments), silver tier 750 tokens (6 regiments) and bronze tier about 500 tokens (8 regiments).
A prize pool of 40,000 gold does not seem unreasonable. 4 regiments will split 28k gold for 7k each (140 gold per member, as they will all have 50 members). That's about the same as 40k CC.
For 1500 tokens between 50 members, each member must contribute 30 tokens. On my experience so far, about 100 kills in D1 will get you a top 5 battle placement. Done nine times over to take a top 5 campaign placement (hopefully!) you earn 13 tokens. Repeat again for 26 tokens, plus the 3 for 1500 kills, plus 0.3 for your contribution to daily tasks and daily orders.
1800 kills is about 54,000 energy and 5,400 Q7 weapons. At about 6 CC/weapon (these MUs will have large stockpiles) we spend 32k CC on weapons. At either the discounted 2.7 gold for a double EB or 0.025 CC/energy (food) you will spend more than the remaining prize budget of 8k CC.
My conclusion? Don't bother...
My prize counter hadn't updated this morning, I made a mistake!
A prize pool if 150k gold! 525 gold per regiment member changes the outcome. That's roughly equivalent to 150k CC. We spent 32k CC on weapons to earn the tokens.
If 12,000 energy cost (assume 500/hour recharge) comes from food we spend another 300 CC. The remaining 46,000 energy comes from 230 double EBs. That sets you back 630 gold, with the discounted price.
The conclusion? Still don't bother, but at least we are getting closer.
with out doing the math, I wouldnt bother with it. These comps are timed for Plato's pocket. We here about it, then we see the P Pack and I Pack's, then the gold and bar discount at the same time as the comp....
Unless your a massive tank in your tank MU, I would prefer to sit back and silently grow, do my DO's as I see fit and if I will have a chance at another medal with out pushing myself to much, I would go for that one (RH or another for example)
