[AMP] I Want More!!!

Hello AMP!

I have been your Party President for 5 days, and they have been exciting days indeed.

AMP has always been the most diverse and inclusive party out there, but I want to AMPlify those characteristics. If you have been to our AMP forum, you will notice our Party-Wide PDBs. Every AMP member gets to sit in on the discussions on our Round Table and can participate as much as they want. The door is open and a few have walked through it....but I want more. I want more active participation in the Party-Wide PDBs. I want a greater percentage of our members with an AMP forum account. I want more AMPers on irc (/me smiles). I want more AMPers filling up the shout feed until it scrolls like a pinwheel in a hurricane. I want MORE!



I recently have friend requested the entire party membership listed in game. I had done this by our AMP forum registration before....but I found an entire group of people I missed. There are loads of AMPers out there who have not yet joined our forums. I'm shocked because I am a forum style player. Others are irc style players and they are shocked when someone doesn't like to irc, so I understand the vantagepoint of those who refuse. I just want every AMPer to realize they have a choice. If you are an AMPer in game, then you can be an AMPer on the forum. You can have a front row seat to the Round Table discussions, and get registered to vote.

Registered to vote? Well, in real life they don't just let anyone walk up to the polling places on election day, they have to register to vote a few months before then. On our forums, you have to register for the forum, and then get approved. You'll have a few weeks wait time, but then you will be free to participate in our party primary elections. These are the elections that really decide the direction of the party, and if you are not a registered voter, then your voice isn't being heard.
