Anyway, remember the alliance poll that was put up a few days ago? I have the results with me, as reported by the one responsible for the poll. It's quite tight, the results. But eCanada has spoken, and the visual aid is here:
Yes, eCanada has voted to stay in Asgard. Although we still move closer to CoT, we shall remain grouped up with our beloved friends, the Finns, Swedes, and Norwegians, and go side by side alongside them. Whatever we do, we do as a family.
However, it is clear that there is a very large portion of the nation that enjoys CoT and what it offers. This portion of the nation will not go unnoticed. We have heard the calls and have already moved accordingly, and will continue to do so. Indeed, have you not noticed the small steps we have taken to improve our relations with CoT? Friendships with USA, Russia, Bulgaria, and Macedonia have already been forged, and we dearly enjoy them. We have also worked with other nations to possibly work out such a deal (one in particular that I know of
😁.
In short, we are staying in Asgard. We love Asgard, and our brothers and sisters in it. However, we will continue, both Canada and Asgard as a whole, to build more bridges between us and CoT, support each other in times of need and strife, and battle our common enemies as one.

well, pro asgard is 55,26% then pro cot is 57,89%. and the total is 113,15%. it should be 100% right?
I think it might've been possible to vote both, but honestly, I have NO idea.

The sum is wrong 42+44 = 86 instead of 76, so that makes 48.83% CoT and 51.16% Asgard. : D

So did I. I then wrote to say that the poll was ridiculous because you could vote for both. I very much disliked this poll as I have been with several others. I do like the second NAP poll though. That's well done.
I just noticed how the vote was 44 to 42 (out of 76 respondents). So if we hadn't voted for Asgard, it would have been a tie.
eCanada does not abandon allies easily. We are stubborn and loyal to a fault. Should of been a 3rd question. Do you support Asgard moving closer to CoT? You would of got close to 100% on that.

Im glad to see that you are staying in Asgard, we all knew that its was going to be hard times for us when the wars beggin but loyalty, bortherhood and friendship means more to us then simple dmg and puppethood.

Actually we were told that Asgard was going to grow, not be the default eRep whipping boy.
I do not think that you were told that Asgard was going to grow, becouse that was never our plan. We ae accepting new members yes, but we are taking it slow and make sure new members fit the profile 100%.
Nope. When we were first discussing it it was not seen in the context that this would be a very small alliance but rather a fresh start.

Interrsting. And yes, Asgard has been moving towards CoT due the fact that our enemies are TWO. And no, Asgard is not going to merge into any alliance. Asgard was formed to be small-ish, focused, brotherhood-concentrated alliance, not a big clusterf*ck like all big alliances are. = )
Then we were lied to. We were told that we were going to be part of new, growing alliance, not a little runt of thing that constantly gets defeated.

Guys, imo the key is in good coordination, then it doesn't matter if you're in the same alliance, and with CoT being terrible at that, we, yes I'm hoping eNL will be a member soon, we better have our own battle coordination. Imo regional alliances are a worhtfull chalenge, and I aslo think Asgard can grow, after eNL the eIrish would like to join. Maybe some day even the French? And who knows the Baltic might remember their history? Which is to repeat itself? 😉
Why no option for Canada in TWO? This is outright discrimination, I'm telling you.
