An Offer from America: Should Japan Merge with the USA?
Yamato Suzuki
There’s no Japanese food, gifts, houses or moving tickets on the market, when we did a military report only 7 out of 117 citizens reported in and the need for companies and workers is getting quite serious.
The increase of Japanese citizens is small, too small. The only people living in eJapan are people with an interest for Japanese culture, and there’s no chance on real life Japanese people joining since they speak bad English and therefor don’t go on English sites.
We’ve gotten a very serious offer from the American government about a merge between the nations of Japan and the USA.
The deal is the admin merges the countries or that we join by declaring war on them.
Wether you’re already for or against this, please read through the entire article.
Economy
American President, Nave:
"The USA has experienced the highest rate of economic growth out of every country and have sustained this growth for over 6 weeks now. If Japan became a part of the US, our collective growth would increase (from an economic standpoint, this annex would make us both into a world power).
The US is also about to import 200 foreigners, all of whom will need jobs."
A term on the merge is that JPY can be traded in for dollars.
Companies are not lost during merges or occupations, all Japanese companies will remain.
Politics
I don’t think parties get deleted when a country is occupied, but if they do the American government is willing to provide gold to all Japanese citizens that wish to start a political party.
Culture
Although we will be under control of the American government, Japan will keep it’s cultural identity and heritage solid.
Language
Although most of the Japanese citizens currently speak English, we may feel free to speak Japanese in the media.
Other
"The American government is willing to accommodate any needs of the Japanese in case of a merger."
SPEAK OUT
I won’t do any merger without first hearing the opinions of the Japanese citizens.
I’m not writing this because it is or isn’t my opinion that we should merge, it’s because we’ve been given a serious offer that could help our country, a lot, and for atleast a short time.
Remember it doesn't neccesarily have to be permanent either.

lol join pakistan
arent you guys from the same site anyways
............................................ I would rather starve.
Me 2.
Same here.
Join Pakistan you idiots. USA is going to loose it to Canada anyway.
And my axe!
We need to join someone.
Being patient and looking at the available options is best. We can be a strong boost to any country.
Seriously, why the US instead of Pakistan? You\'d get the same benefits from merging from us. What is so wrong with Pakistan? We aren\'t forced to do anything, as you may well know. We choose to do the things we do because it\'s in the best interest of Pakistan as a whole.
Well so far it looks like the merger won\'t be.
how do i join the japanesee millitary?
Right now all you can do is train, Origineel.NL removed the article.
XD
Well, speaking for myself, I\'d be glad to have Japan here with us. I\'ve been considering spending some time in your country for some time now. Is too bad you aren\'t getting real-life Japersons...
If it is about the war, no Japanese would be expected to fight on our behalf. Also, if opposition from the Japanese is really vehement, we could cancel it outright. A merger would make every Japanese citizen a lot wealthier.
You can\'t buy Japan sir. Bushido. Honor codes!
It\'s not a matter of buying Japan. It\'s a matter of everyone interested in his own economic welfare. This was a tentative discussion from the beginning, so you have no need to get defensive about any of this. Your president was just testing the waters. I suggested putting the decision up to Congress but he declined. Regardless, if Japan\'s economy doesn\'t improve and some of you have a change of heart, we would be honored to absorb you.
And also, as difficult as this may seem, try not to let your real life biases get in the way of erepublik.
@Robaato: What kind of terms would you want?
I strongly do not like this idea. I orginally lived in the e-us, before moving to Japan. I have seen first hand it\'s ecnomy, and politics. Japan is a much better place to live. If we were to merge with another country, I would not it to be the U.S.
I have a lot of friends in eJapan do i not big dog and muira?
@John Mcgee: I am not sure when you lived there, but a lot of things have changed. The government takes a more active role in ensuring the economy is working well -- our GDP has doubled since March 1st.
I can see this merger helping both countries, but if the Japanese people don\'t support it I don\'t.
Also, I thought that I should mention that the Japanese would stay in their current regions. The only real difference is that they would have access to workers and the American marketplace. We have a system of training programs that supply the rest of the countries with 2+ workers, so that Q2-Q4 companies can get employees.
Well, I lived in the U.S when Korbin I belive was president. If the ecnomy and politics has changed, then I would not have a problem with merging.
I don\'t have much of a problem merging but I don\'t think the USA is going to win there war but I wouldn\'t mind being a Canadian. I would really like Japan become a wealthy country and a strong country but yea I believe Japan dosn\'t have enough active accounts or someone made a bunch of fake accounts. Whatever the reason is for the poor Japanese economy it\'s got to be fixed or soon we won\'t have a choice who we want to merge with some bigger country will just take it.
This is a perfect situation to use my Fair War Act, and i am not just doing this to plug my act. It seems it would be best for both countries economically. I would love to assist in whatever way i can.
Why should Japan have to merged with USA?? I hope Japan never do this...why? because now we have MPP and we don\'t want Japan merged with USA...
We really disappointed if this happen...
@John Mcgee: Things have changed drastically. I think you\'d like it now 🙂
@LegalizeWee😛 I disagree with everything except your name hahah. We will either defeat Canada or declare peace -- either way, the stability of our nation isn\'t an issue.
@flik_kenni: Don\'t worry -- it doesn\'t look like this will ever be sent to Congress. But to answer your question, Japan would merge with the US to become stabile and have the opportunity to grow. Its companies would increase the amount of workers -- the citizens would become wealthier -- everyone would maintain his political voice. Everyone would live in the same Japanese regions they live in today -- the only real difference would be that Japan would be under the protection of the US. Also, Japan would have full access to America\'s resources. It\'s really not a bad deal for Japan.
However, I understand the desire to keep your country your own. We would do as much as we could to not infringe on the rights you have now, but eNationalism is a tough thing to overcome. We won\'t take it personally if you decide not to merge with us.
If we are going to merge we should seek all possibilities. Could Indonesia be a possibility? What about uniting all (inactive) asian nation to one? (china, thai, korea, australia)
I think Indonesian is ready to assist Japan, we\'re brother right..
