I know we all had our hearts set on California, but as I'm sure we already know, we lost California. I'ts hard to put a positive spin on yesterday, but here goes.

The USA and our allies had several other battles against PEACE forces, and the good news is that we won all five.

The Aegean-Islands was secured.
Slavonia was secured.
Catalonia was liberated for Spain.
Ontario was liberated Canada. This is a major win for Canada, almost as important as California would have been to the US.
Asturias was liberated for Spain.

I haven't seen a confirmed report from the government, but several people have written that Indonesia spent significantly more gold for California than we did, and it was still a very close battle. Thus we can claim to be "economic victors" (not as good as partying in Hollywood, but something anyway). The worst part is that this victory gave Indonesia the initiative and they immediately attacked Arizona.

Today ... if you have anything left at all, defend Arizona! If we can hold onto Arizona, we will stop Indonesia from advancing further and regain the initiative.

(Late morning update ... Indonesia retreated from Arizona and attacked Nevada. Expect more retreats and re-attacks from Indo so they can keep the initiative.
