Awards Shortlist & Lottery Results
The Irish Community
Lottery Results!
The lucky number in this week’s Community lottery was 13, the second ball drawn in Ireland’s RL National Lottery. The first number out of the drum, 43, was not picked by anybody. The prize of 1000iep will be shared between John Gormley and Patrick O’Leary. Well done lads!
Edit: castaneda was also a rightful winner this week but was overlooked at the time. He has been paid his winnings of 500iep out of James Keiller's own funds, and has donated it right back to the Community. Thanks cas!

Edit: As pointed out by Stranger Here Myself, the shortlisted article, Tell Me of a Nation... By Glove, was not published in eIreland, although the substance of the article was very much about eIreland. There is indeed a stipulation in the blasted rules that the article must be published in eIreland (see earlier article requesting nominations). Maybe this is something we should change for future Awards.

Congrats Pat and John on the lotto win
Thanks for the nomination : D who ever picked me btw
VICTORY SHALL BE OURS
Make your choice. Or else.
Thanks for the nomination for best GM (for the first time). Btw, "Tell me of a nation" wasn't published in Ireland.
Yesssssss! Finally won!!!
In your face Grainne!
"Btw, "Tell me of a nation" wasn't published in Ireland"
No-one said it had to be. It was written with regard to the Irish Community.
Damn if only i picked 13 , Hang on a minute i did ....
Once again, not nominated. 🙁 I need to work on that
I should self nominate myself : /
Sincere apologies castaneda, you did pick 13. Even though it was my mistake, I will make sure DerBrad is flayed for this.
mwahahaha heard DerBrad enjoys a lil bit o S&M so be careful with the flaying
I'll have a quiz??? Ooooh, that quiz.... What are the odds Grainne will win?
Well I tell you what, if both C and Gormley have won, I am now POSITIVE there is an insider in KPMG, bring back Stokes Kennedy Crowley!
(well, I guess it may also have something to do with the fact that I forgot to play :/ )
I think you should all be flayed, in a mass exhibition of screaming and bloodshed and group humiliation.
As for the nomination, I am NEITHER loveable, nor a rogue, so I hereby declare myself ineligible. 😛!
I'll be voting Seanan for lifetime achievement
I am honored to see my name up there
Grainne, since the ICA first rigged the voting the 'Loveable Rouge' award is actually a respectable title (actually far more honourable than the Most Trusted Politician), it simply signals you're an independent thinking citizen, not a lapdog of the ruling saddos. I would have been very much disappointed if I hadn't been nominated.
"since the ICA first rigged the voting"
Please explain this remark SHM. There is no way to rig the voting for Community Awards without the complicity of the MoC other than by the cunning stratagem of nominating and voting for people.
If you have a scintilla of evidence of vote rigging, I would very much like to hear it. Otherwise, withdraw this slur.
SHM...I have said nothing against you yet you aimed your last smite at me.
"actually far more honourable than the Most Trusted Politician"...what is your problem, dude? You couldn't say "actually far more honourable than the Most Acclaimed Publisher" or anything.
😑
I can attest that the MoC is NOT complicit in any vote rigging.
KURGAN IN NOT ON ROGUE LIST???
IT SEEMS KURGAN WILL HAVE TO LEVEL UP HIS ATTACKS ON GOVERNMENT!
James Keiller, half of eIreland had read that article and the following comments that then MoC DerBrad deleted - the time when the ICA gang rigged the voting in order to make orangejuiceman (the British PTO collaborator) the 'Most Trusted Politician' (and as a side-show, me the 'Loveable Rogue'). Yeah, I've got the screenshot of it somewhere on the EA forums, but surely won't bother looking it up every time some of you start to deny the obvious.
You can of course join the intensive trolling by the prominents of your party if you wish, and call the stating of well-known and well-proven facts a 'slur'. We have seen that repeatedly from the military clique, but you've stayed clear of all that filth so far - I would personally be pretty much disappointed to see you joining the pack, had the impression of you being of a vastly better human quality.
MikeBane:
Oc it hasn't got anything to do with you, when the ICA rigged the voting you were in Norway. It's simply that the 'Most Trusted' stuff was their primary targed, making British PTO collaborator, civil-war starter, community funds thief OJ having it - as he was (despite of this anti-commuity track record) then the Vice-President appointed by Marcus Suridius. Just the usual eIreland political filth.
Thank you for the clarification SHM. Certain people organising themselves to vote in a certain way is not vote rigging, it's called voting. I take it then, there is nothing to back up your assertion that the Community Awards were ever rigged.
When it goes on behind the backs of the public and with the knowledge of the 'department', it is rigging it. As clearly shown by the leaked #ICA quotes and the following re-polling of the public. I am not at all suprised you've returned from explanation attempts to full denial - that is apparently just everyday job for "bhoys". The Community Awards have long been turned into a propaganda tool of petty rivalries - quite unfairly to all those who actually deserve the titles.
Ahhh Jaysus 😁
I wasn't talking about vote rigging at all, I was talking about the general unfairness of the RL lottery, and how if C and Gormley would play it in RL (with similar success)they would be a poncey pair of Jameson-Swilling-Pink-Polo-Shirt-Wearing-Yacht-Owning-Residents @Dingle Marina.
I think the lads in the MoC are class.
