Memoirs of a party president

Day 1,244, 01:16 Published in Australia Australia by Miss Wolf

Former More Beer Party members, friends, eAustralians,

I’m sorry to inform you that I wasn’t able to hold on to our beloved party any longer and at this party president election it has been taken over by an eIndonesian. 🙁 (Strangely the party page doesn’t indicate it yet. I guess the game won’t recognise any other party president but me. 😛 )

This once great and fun eAustralian party as we knew it ceased to exist when eAustralia was wiped off the map at the end of last year and all our parties became eIndonesian. More and more people quitted the party every day and after we had managed to regain our independence and started rebuilding eAustralia there were hardly any eAussies left in the party. As for me I decided to stay and wait until there is only me in the party so that I could dissolve it, in order to avoid it being taken over by eIndos like all our other parties. Unfortunately a few eIndos joined the party and upset my plans. 😠
I was lucky enough to remain party president and win party elections in the past few months, have some fun with putting my name onto their country president list, however the eIndos have eventually figured out that they need more votes than the incumbent party president to end her reign.

Our beautiful party logo.

In the 17 months of my party presidency a lot happened to the party, it went through a considerable change becoming a top 5 party. I’ve gotten to know many great people along the way, there are too many names to list all of them, but you know who you are. 😉
The MBP grew from a lulz party to a well organized top 5 party and I’m thankful to the people who helped me make the More Beer Party the great community it was in its prime.

Our party survived many take over attempts. The very first one, just before the angeldemon PTO (political take over), was in March last year when lots of prominent eAussies came to help me keep the party president seat.

It was an exciting election. I remember as I was watching the votes coming in the final minutes of the election day I was biting my nails off. 😃
This was the first time the party got into the top 5, thanks to all those people who joined the party to vote for me. :3 Back then we were only a bunch of people enjoying two-clicking and having fun with my first lulz run for CP.

I finished third. Not bad, eh? 🙂

Later that year our Dear Father aka Dartreal had his own lulz run with the support of our party which we all enjoyed very much. XD eAustralia hasn’t experienced that much fun ever since.

As time passed the party grew stronger and we managed to elect more and more of our own senators, running under the banner of other parties for a while. During the angeldemon PTO however the MBP got into the top 5 and we started to take our responsibilities seriously. We successfully blocked our senate lists and elected our senate candidates every month. The party was so organized and strong that the angeldemons never made a serious attempt to take it over. We fought tirelessly to free eAustralia and luckily for us the PTO’ers got bored after a couple of months and left the country.

During the long months of the PTO I worked hours every day as party president helping the Anti Takeover effort, arranging blockers, messaging voters and as manager of two Tax Haven companies I participated in the Resistance movement as well. When the oppression was finally over I felt exhausted, so I decided to retire from ePolitics, close my companies and take a long break. 🙂

Me enjoying my well deserved break and taking delight in my funky wiki page.

So what’s next? I will probably stay in the party for a little while, see what happens to it, hoping the new party president gets bored one day and quits letting me finally dissolve the party. Until then I continue to two-click.
I’m not planning to revive the More Beer Party, because it takes a lot of time to run a party the way I did. A good party president takes care of party members, especially if they are newbies, helps them solve their problems, learn the ropes of the game and I don’t have the time for that at the moment. The members of my party always deserve the best and I won’t run for party presidency again until I’m sure I can be the hard working party president I used to be. 😉

See you around, eAustralia!
