PACMAN is pretty cool, but i think Ms. PACMAN is better, she's got that cute bow and she swallows.
Well I trust Hekter but I need to look at the charter first in detail (later, at work 😶).
Controling of funds is one of my concern but Hekter seems to had addressed it to me in the forum.. (which I had not looked at it yet 😣)
Consider me part of the silent majority.
I think it's ok. If it is agreed to, I won't oppose.
I think it will fail like all other South East Asian alliances like Sol :/
I think it will fail like all other South East Asian alliances like Sol x2
Sol was a failure because it wasn't a South East Asian alliance.
Pacman is not an alliance...its a collective military association. United we stand. Together we fall.

See why PACMAN is not Sol in the comments here: http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/pacman-charter1-1596859/1/20
"I think it will fail like all other South East Asian alliances like Sol"
Have to ask, what do gentlemen, who said this, know about Sol and it`s fall?
Humm I am looking at it... right now.. I think I object.
I´m new here and i don´t know nothing about SoL and other aliances but I think that´s an interesting idea.
The Charter is a joke, so is it... Better not sign
I'm with Johnnie. sorta
I don't agree unless we call it Ms. PACMAN
for srs
>I don't agree unless we call it Ms. PACMAN
hahaha xD
I don't know what acronym we can put in for the Ms., we would be open to suggestions. Either that, or we could always have a branch of the military called Ms. PACMAN.
I'm all about the pink bows.
Signed at this term by all party presidents that changed every month is not secured nor safe. if wan alliance, i would suggest individual singapore and 1 other nations , multiple pacts 1 on 1 singapore with other nation is more safer than all together. if all 1:1 pacts shows consistency and no disputes then we consider SEA alliance.
To those who object this; Why do you object? Is there something wrong in the charter? If there is, then try to work with ePhilipines and eMalayia so that we can fix those problems. Do someone really think that it would be a best option to stay alone and not to cooperate with our friends? If do, then I guess eSingapore is a hopeless case...
Erius, merged military.
That's what everyone objects to.
@Thedark ace
Then discuss about it and ask if it could be changed. Can you say that cooperation with them would make us weaker? Even if we would not merge all our militaries but would create just one "elite" group for the alliance, we would be much stronger. Strenght throught unity.
I know you`re not weaklings who want to give up. Fight for this and I`m sure that you wont get disappointed.
Apparently everyone here doesn't trust us enough to not want to screw you all over. While this is absolutely mind-boggling, since we have *absolutely* *nothing* *to* *gain* from that, and we absolutely must have structure going in.
This is the structure:
Everyone's. Military. = Pacmen
Everyone's. Military. Companies. = Pacmen Supply Companies
Everyone's. Military. Company. Production. Costs. = Costs to be shouldered by the countries.
This is no more expensive than usual. You would be spending this much on your *own* militaries anyway.
Once again, the Singaporean establishment seems rather conservative, doesn't it. If we're to get anywhere, we have to learn to embrace new ideas.
Sol failed because one person, as chairman, isolated 3 founding nations and attempted to abuse powers. After that several people tried to revive the dying alliance but the damage had been done and couldn't be corrected.
I realize that posting this is about 4 days too late but Finals consume your life when your in college.
Also a shared military was an idea that was kicked around Sol. The prototype was the SolDiers program but despite the best efforts of people I feel did way more work than they got credit for (Much love to Atra and Meddy, they did above and beyond what was required), it failed. Each nation needs a static national military that is NOT controlled by his neighbors or a central bureaucracy.
I dont know about other nations but when I ran eSingapore's military it ran on virtually NO funding while still deploying (At least Torchwood did and Im not counting the national stockpile of guns that now seems to be depleted). I don't see why eSingapore should pay for another nations military that may or may not be running efficiently or for a centralist military that may or may not be running efficiently.
I think that the nations of SE Asia can work together with out being bound together in an alliance that seems pre-doomed to fail.
As nothing at this point can really assure Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines are working together with the Pacmen for the moment exclusively, to illustrate the point that we're not purposely trying to screw things up, or doing things inefficiently.
Besides, if anyone gets a benefit from this it'd be Singapore--having access to our supplies and companies would benefit you all more than it does us.
Tschau!
