After the elections – from one DPI point of view

Day 707, 17:49 Published in India India by Gendun Choephel
=> this is just my humble personal view on this topic - so no official DPI statement. It was written on monday but due to internet problems I could not publish earlier...

Dear fellow citizens, colleagues and party members,

at first I want to thank everybody who voted in the last elections. Participation in elections shows eIndia’s strength as well as military or diplomatic power. Sometimes I feel that this point is underestimated…

Nethertheless, Congratulations to all congressmen!
It is now your task, your responsibility to return this confidence. We will have a look who deserves it or who is just doing his own business. Especially DPI congressman have to follow our party rules if they want to run for congress in November…

Until November – this is the sad conclusion – DPI has a lot to do. We lost 4 seats and have to admit our defeat. Of course this might not be a sad day for eIndia but a sad day for our party. During the last months we have played an important role in eIndians politics, we provided ministers, our party members served the full term, we are the only party with an party program and so on.
So I think we are deserve more but for this we have to stick together and be more active.

After 4 hours of sleep my bell rang this morning and I wanted to use my vote to help our party members but I couldn’t find any other member online – so where has our voting squad been?
I saw 5 members who only needed 1 vote to be elected and I had to decide, the hardest ingame decision for me. So I sked some playes and NPF. They informed me that those people have been suspected and I shouldn’t vote for them. It was too early and I have been to tired.
So next time we have to choose our candidates wisely and build up a stronger voting squad. We will not compete with AHF and IU (soon) but we can do it better 😉

So this leads me to the main question: What to do?

1. new party organisation
The last 2 months we did great and important steps: party org, newspaper, program… based on this we should delegate tasks. Every member has strengths and I want them to use them for our party. It s not the principle of our “Democratic Party” to appoint a Party President and let him work alone. I think of
- party newspaper
- member recruitment
- member servicing
- election squad
and many more…. Which tasks do you see?

2. new party life
As I said above it was difficult for me to vote for people I don’t know at all. We should meet and discuss party issues together and see who is interested and trustworthy. So let’s discuss political issues and play some games together.
=> we will have more fun together
=> we will stop persons to run from DPI which are not trustworthy

3. what everybody can do
We will need more members to have a chance so spread our message, publish our program and say everybody that DPI is no danger to eIndia but a strong pillar for eIndia’s democracy!

4. next elections
This might be the most delicate issue. And I hope that somebody will read until here xD
So atm we have 2 candidates and I don’t know if we should appoint a third one. We can help the other small party to bother IU but I don’t want to.
So I prefer to either support kansarasumit or appoint an own candidate – not to harm kansarasumit but to spread our message and recruit some new members because of an active, funny and impressive election campaign.

So that’s all for the moment, my next article will deal with our relationship with IU 🙂
