Gendun Choephel’s candidature for Indian Congress

Day 669, 09:44 Published in India India by Gendun Choephel
=> this manifesto was written in september and updated for the october-elections...

What is this about?

In a few days all eIndians will be called to vote for the next congress. For the fourth time in my virtual life I will run for it. And with this article I will request for your trust and support.
As rL-politician I really believe that it is not important what people promise, because actions speak louder than words. And I also believe that you have to know, where somebody comes from, to know wherefore he stands up. Therefore I will start with introducing myself!

Who is the person behind the character ‘Gendun Choephel’ ?

In rL I live in Germany and will finish my academic studies in this autumn. My subjects have been tibetology, politics and economics - so in short: eRepublic sciences 🙂

Since twelf years I am member of a Germany party and work especially for social and environmental topics. But especially I stand up for tolerance and the fight against racism and wars. I also fight for democracy because I know about the importance of freedom and peace, my grandfathers fought in WWII and my uncle died because of the division of German. Btw. The peaceful revolution in 1989 began in the town I live in…

This August I have been to Nepal, that's why I had a brake and lost my second hard workers medal *cry* but I fell in love with this country and its people that has been more important of course. So I wish to work in Asia in the future maybe we will meet in India soon 🙂

Why do I play eRepublic?

I play roleplay games called micronations for ten years; we simulate countries, politics, economics but also the UN, culture, sports and so on. So there you can do more than within eRepublik. Nethertheless I like eRepublik a lot because of the nice people I met here and I really love to interact with them. For me this is more important than to make profits or to be the best soldier.

What has Gendun Choephel done till now?

I started eRepublic exact 4 months ago in eChina beacuse I wanted to help to develop eTibet. But eChina was boring, there was nothing happening in their forum, no help, no support... and so I switched to India and found many nice guys and also friends here.
I own three companies in eGermany and one in eIndia which work for non-profit but helped eGermany in times of high unemployment. This times it is more difficult to break even but this is the challenge of this game.
I am an active member of DPI because I believe that we need strong and active parties to live democracy and protect our country and achievements! I helped vigi to strengthen DPI and think we really are on a good way as party of total democracy.

The last 4 weeks I have been member of Congress for the first time in my elife. In Congress I have been online every day so keeped my promises. I followed every rule (5G, discuss proposals...) and voted for each and every proposal. I learned so much in this time and hope to stand a second term to continue this work for the sake of eIndia.

So what are his aims for the next weeks?

If elected or not I will
=> use my money to invest it in India and provide fair wages and prices
=> use my German knowledge to mediate between India and the German speaking Nations if it is needed
=> work for the NPF, I have been already asked to do so and agreed to it
=> stand up for democracy, freedom of speech and other civil rights
=> therefore I will continue working for DPI, because a strong country needs a strong democracy and for it strong parties (Parties does not become an end in itself).
=> mostly I am online every day! (now for 60 days in a row!)
=> I refuse to any war of aggression. India has to remain the voice of peace, freedom and rationality in the world maintaining our (Gandhi’an) cultural heritage!

If elected
=> I will of course donate my 5 gold and follow the other rules as I did last term
=> and what is even more important: I will stay in eIndia for the whole term and work for our common future!

Dhanyabaad! Thanks for your interest!
