[YUUVA] A Successful February Congress Election

Another Congress election has come and gone. How has Yuuva done? As a new leader you always hope that you will influence the party positively but you are never sure the reverse might not happen until the numbers come in.

So thank you Yuuva and thank you India for putting your trust and votes with my team.

Participation trend.

There was a substantial drop after the November elections which were the first during which UAGG were fully present in India. After that election we also saw the baby boom efforts which has translated in a slow steady rise.

Percentage of Congress.

After controlling a majority in Congress, Yuuva experienced a dip in December as some members decided to try new parties. The two following elections has seen the party climb back towards majority territory.

Congress Seats.

Yuuva fell two seats short of a controlling majority. However, agreement with any other opposition party would put that coalition over the threshold. Since January was a 30-seat Congress month, the better comparison is December and Yuuva is +2.

To all Indians but especially young citizens, stay active and stay involved. Parties reward those that contribute. This month Yuuva has continued its tradition of excellence in that regard.
