EDIT: It has come to my attention that open citizenship has been removed since I started two-clicking, so PTO isn't an issue for either country, but going without a congress for a month is still not a good thing. So the points about it still remain valid.
I haven’t done a Pros/Cons article in awhile and this seemed like a good time.
Winning the War
Pros:
-Oh look we got fishies
So we get an extra 5% increase on food production, that’s cool and all but do we need it? No not really. Most Malaysians probably make all of their own food and for those that don’t there is plenty on the market for pretty cheap.
Cons:
-eSG is extremely annoyed if not pissed at eMY for awhile
Self explanatory
-We have to deal with RW’s that eSG is bound to start
Further fights that will drain our country(and there is no NE bonus with this one)
-Receive the imperialistic label
After all the times that eMY has labeled Indo and even eSG in the last war as imperialistic, we are now doing exactly what we spoke out against.
Summary:
We get fish and the 5% bonus that comes with it, but at the price of pissing off our neighbor, fighting a costly war followed by costly RW’s and being known for at least awhile as imperialistic hypocrites. Awesome right?
Losing the War
Pros-yeah there are actually pros to losing
-We save at least a little face
Not to mention that eSG has already agreed to leave us be after the war is over and release Sarawak in time for elections sparing us from PTO. Cool guys right?
Cons:
-Well we lost :/
Is losing all that bad though? Is our pride really that important? I believe I wrote about something similar before *thoughtful face
-We may or may not have to get by with one region for awhile
After the last war PM was held by eSG for a few weeks or months(I don’t remember the exact amount of time) as payment for the war. There hasn’t been discussion to my knowledge about PM if eSG happens to win, but Sarawak will be released immediately as mentioned above.
Summary:
So losing would suck cause we lost, but eSG has already promised to restore us right away. So again, is losing actually all that bad?
End Thoughts
So at this point the battle for Singapore City could go either way. All I really have to say is that if we do happen to win Singapore City we should release it immediately. The NE has already been declared, there is nothing that can be done about it now and I think the eSG gov’t agrees on that. However, what happens after the war is still important. Don’t let eMY be viewed as the 2nd most imperialist nation in SEA(yeah we all know what I mean) return the favor that eSG gave to us in the past and has offered again. Free them in time to have their elections so that they can avoid PTO. Please don’t take this the wrong way,I do not hold any grudge against Lenin, I just don’t like his decision or methods. But he can make up for any bad blood now if he so chooses.

Oh... I forgot, different people gets different definition of what is democracy.
In my point of view, fair democracy is applicable in the process of deciding matters. But once the the decision has concluded, everybody must follow through the action.
Otherwise, we are splitting the community when the unity is crucial for the sake of the survival of the nation.

I have no pull in the eSingapore government anymore but I honestly hope after they wipe you (It will happen) that you approach the diplomacy table and make a deal unlike last time where when you didnt get a deal you had eIndo win your RW for PM for you.
Yeah, those cons aren't anything new to eMalaysia. We always lose and eSing is always pissed at us for one reason or another. So it really doesn't change anything. Winning would have been a nice change. I like fish. I just think we could have gotten fish by invading eThailand (with a lot more help from the Indos like with region swaps) and get down to fighting our real enemy: the Serbs.
it's not about justice, pride and bla..bla..bla..war keeps your babies alive. bored makes a lot of people left this game. i voted the decision of eMY govt. it's make the game more interesting
@Mahesa: Indo has always been imperialist, I don't mean it in a derogatory manner, it's simply an observation. That's the way Indo has chosen to play the game, I'm fine with that, but that doesn't mean I agree with it.
@Amli: I disagree completely, I discussed pros and cons not to prevent war, as you said it had already started. I discussed the pros and cons to show people what would happen if we won and if we would lose. The majority did not decide for this, Lenin decided to NE a country and then told everyone afterwards to go along with it. That's not democracy, that is authoritarian. I will not fight in this war and will definitely not waste gold in it because it is pointless. I am fighting for Malaysia not through aggression but through diplomacy, which is perfectly fine with me.
@Relorian: Deals were made before the NE proposal was even finished.
@Otak: Yes true, but a pointless war pisses our neighbors off which leaves us without allies which makes the game extremely boring. We can't fight constantly because we have no one to fight. There has to be a balance and eMY hasn't had it for more than a year.
Right now your country is in the middle of war. I think to critize your govt is not good right now. You just demoralize the
Moral of your people. I think its better if you motivate others to fight with all you can.
