[XTRA] Community Proposal: Operation Ion Blitz (הצעה לקהילה: מבצע בליץ יון)

Hey ya'll, it's ahava3233 reporting. In any event, I wanted to speak for a moment on our current military situation and give my solution, as I've derived from experience as a player, soldier, and even a joint government appointed battlefield commander (controlling government distro and Combat Order funding on a real-time basis in a very evenly matched war) in another country once upon a time.

שלום את כולם, זאת אהבה. בכל מקרה, רציתי לדבר על המצב צבאי במדינה ולתת את הפתרון שלי, פתרון שאני מאמינה יפתור את הבעיה של קפריסין. עשיתי את הפתרון הזה עם התנסות כמו שחקנית, חיילת, ואפילו כמו מפקדת צבאית (איפה אני השליטתי את הפצה של נשקים וצוויי קרב) במדינה אחרת בעבר.



I think it's obvious at this point that Israel is in a bit of a pickle. We've been wiped for nearly a month now and Cyprus is basically sitting on its laurels. The problem has furthermore been compounded with the conclusion of the second national shield tournament, which has given Cyprus a massive defense boost while holding our regions.

אני חושבת שהוא ברור שיש לישראל בעיה גדולה. נכבשנו על ידי קפריסין עבור כחודש ואני לא יכולה לראות סוף לזה בקרוב. הבעיה גדלה יותר בגלל עכשיו יש לקפריסין כיפת ברזל גדול, וזה לא עוזר אותנו.



So, President Miki has been complaining about the activity level in this country. Honestly, I don't blame him for that, he and just a few of his colleagues have been running most of the show for some time. There also has also been very little initiative from the military community in this country.

But anyway, the question remains, how do we solve our immediate problem? Don't worry, I have a proposal that I'm sure won't take too much of the community's effort or time 😉.

Well, back when I was Japanese, we were faced with a wipe in similar circumstances. The first national shield tournament had just concluded, and Portugal, a country that successfully airstriked us was holding a prime and fortified (with a national shield) stake in our territory. The gov (which I was a part of at the time) deliberated and decided to start operation Suzumebachi (Japanese Giant Hornet/スズメバチ) in order to prepare for a real war to kick out the Portuguese (this ended up being the spontaneous and successful Mitsunami War) The operation worked as follows:

כאשר הייתי אי-יפנית, היה לנו מצב דומה למצב כאן היום. הטורניר של כיפת ברזל הראשון סתם גמר, ולפורטוגל, מדינה שנצח נגד אותנו בהתקפת אוויר, היה להם תנוחה חזק מכיוון שהכיפת ברזל שלהם. הממשלה (עבדתי בה הימים האלה) החלטתה להתחיל מבצע סוּזוּמֳבַּצִ׳ (צרעה יפנית גדול) כדי להכין בשביל מלחמה בעתיד לשחרר את הארץ שלנו (זאת קרתה עם הצלחה במלחמת מִיצוּנַמִי). המבצע היה זה.

1. The government, private donors, and citizens would fund scheduled RWs against the enemy.

1. הממשלה, תורמים פרטים, ואזרחים שילמו עבור מלחמות התנגדות נגד הצורר בלוח זמנים.

2. Soldiers would be notified as to the timing of the wars in advance in order to schedule ahead their damage. They would dump as much damage as they could during the battles specifically to damage the enemy's shield and their shield only, not to win. This is not dependent on how much effort they put in at all, only our own and that of our allies/resistance fighter medal hunters.

2. חיילים קיבלו הודעות על מתי יתחילו המלחמות כדי שהם יכולים לדעת מתי להילחם. הם הלחמו בקרבים סתם כדי להזיק את הכיפת ברזל של הצורר, לא כדי לנצח. הדבר הכי טוב על הרעיון הזה הוא שההצלחה שלנו לא סומכת על מה הצורר עושה, ההצלחה שלנו סתם סומכת על ההשתתפות שלנו.

All this would require, as you could see, is communication between Israel's MUs/Parties and the continued hard work of the gov. The rest is just channeling the effort of the community and crowd sourcing some funding. I would personally get involved here and really help the gov, but I really need to continue to focus my attention on my real life job hunting as I mentioned before (yep, I'm STILL LOOKING, uggh 🙁 ).

המבצע הזה רק צריך תשדורת בין המפלגות וחברי יחידה, וגם העבודה של הממשלה. אנו סתם צריכים השתתפות עם הדברים האלה כדי לעשות את זה. אני אעזור את הממלשה, אבל אני צריכה להמשיך את החיפוש שלי בשביל עבודה בחיים אמתי כמו אמרתי בעבר (כן, אני עדיין מחפשת...).



Oh, and if you were curious about the name, well, almost every real life Israeli Military Operation in the country's 66 year history has had a cool name. I took it from Star Wars (think Ion Cannon, a weapon specifically designed to disable electronics and energy shields) followed by Blitz to denote its effectiveness as a battle strategy.

או, ואם הייתם מסוקרנים על השם של המבצע, נו, לכל מבצע בישראל בחיים אמתי יש שם פצצה. אני קחה אותו ממלחמת הכוכבים (תחשבו תותח יון, נשק שמשומש כדי להרוס אלקטרוניקה וכיפות אנרגיה) והמילה בליץ כדי להגדיר החוזק של ההתקפה.
