Recent Party President Elections

For those familiar with the Workers’ Rights Party this will be just a quick article to say a big thank you to all those WRP members who cast their votes in my favour in yesterday's Party President elections. I'm once again pleased to remain as the steward of this fine party.

I hope to see more of the steady growth in membership and fine contributions on the party feed that we've seen over the last few months. I hope to make use of existing party membership support and find support from our new members so we can take our usual active part in both the Congressional and Country President elections. I'd also like to invite any members interested in becoming the party's Councillor or Spokesman to contact me.

As a party we must also be mindful to ensure as best we can the will of the average UK citizen remains well represented and this representation improved when possible. We must also strive to support steps which will lead the UK to having a fairer and more inclusive society where respect and kindness are the traits most rewarded.

Once again a big thank you to the party membership for electing me as Party President. For those with no or limited knowledge or would just like a reminder of the WRP why not read further...

Introduction to the

The Workers’ Rights Party is a political party which strives to see the eUK is full of dedicated, active and well-informed citizens supported by their government. We are dedicated to ensuring equality and enhancing society for all eUK citizens. We trust the people tempered by prudence, this separates us from a lot of the other parties of the eUK who dis-trust the people tempered by fear. At the heart of our party is fairness, free-thinking and creativity.

The WRP are one of a few parties in the United Kingdom which have clear set of policies kept up to date for all to see as well as a great community. Many parties have become very focused on improving only their community however their policies remain static or confused.

As a party we seek to address some minor failings of our current society...

We live in a society dominated by policies from the right side of the political spectrum. The NHS is relied on by many new citizens and run as a charity by a few which rely on the kind donations of members of the eUK public. The education of new citizens is fairly infrequent and too prescriptive.

Food which is taxed highly compared to weapons. Where many do receive weapons via their MUs, a fair proportion of the population purchase weapons. Where the Government could profit and distribute the wealth we instead ensure the wealth remains with the richest in society.

We make no effort via Government to allow our based on citizens to expand FRM/WRM production and export to foreign markets to generate incoming wealth from outside the eUK. Immigration has become a political football. The current military structure of the eUK is not nurtured, supported or consulted as sufficiently as it could be.

Membership
We are a very fine group of citizens always out for what is best for the eUK and despite not being one of the largest eUK political parties the WRP remains a really great place for anyone new to the world or the eUK to start in or reinvigorate your new world experience. All party decision are made after consultation all our members however stewardship of the party is provided by the;

Leadership Council
Party President
Huey George
In the WRP the Party President forms overall party strategy, maintains and enhances the party's reputation, managing party communication, encourages recruitment and develops party policy with the party members. They also keep informed regarding the political situation of the eUK including any foreign politics which may affect the eUK. The Party President also organises the vote to decide who the party supports during their campaign for CP and the vote on who will represent us in Congress and/or we will enter a coalition for Congress with.

Vice President,
Henry Hank Moody
In the WRP the Vice President supports the Party President in deciding overall party strategy, maintaining and enhancing the party's reputation, managing party communication, encouraging recruitment, deciding party policy and providing help and guidance to new party members. They also help keep the Party President informed regarding the political situation of the eUK including any foreign politics which may affect the eUK.

Secretary General
The Dragon Fluffer
In the WRP the Secretary General promotes recruitment policies and ensures the general morale and spirit of the party is high. An independent check that the Party President and Vice President are meeting the expectations of our party members.

Councillor
Vacant
In the WRP, the Councillor supports the party president in deciding the policy which guides of the party and keeping the PP informed regarding the current political climate of the eUK.

Spokesman
Vacant
In the WRP the Spokesman supports the Party President in representing the party via the media to let the citizens of the eUK know what the party stands and the party's views on the state of the eUK. They would also support the Party President and Vice President in maintaining and enhancing the party's reputation.

Communication
Other than the party feed there are other methods of communicating within the party where all topics can be discussed whether about the party, it's policies or just chatter;

IRC
If you like to use the IRC and you'd like to chat to some of us, you can find us at #WRP

Forum
We have our our party forum which is part of the eUK's official forums. PM me if you are a member of the WRP and you'd like to have access to this.

Our Policies

*Government includes Congress, the Country President and his cabinet...although we as a party recognise the separate duties, roles and responsibilities of Congress and the Country President's Office
