[WRP] - A view from Parliament - Issue 32

Day 2,349, 09:00 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Huey George

Introduction

In past few hours I have been once again been elected a member of Congress (Parliament), I thank those who voted for the WRP/ESO/UKPP/GBDP coalition which has allowed me this honour to represent you once again. I also congratulate my fellow successful member of Congress and commiserate with those citizens unsuccessful especially my fellow WRP candidates.

Once again through my series 'A view from Parliament' articles I will inform and discuss the law proposals put forward with you my constituents. I will also provide you details of my voting to review.

You may also contact via personal message to discuss any Congressional issues or concerns you may have as it's your right and my duty to listen.

In this brief article I'll introduce my overall aims for this term

The Term Ahead

I have already sent friend request to all citizens elected to Congress which I was not already friends with this term regardless of their party, military unit or political objectives. In this regard I hope we can find common ground to improve the UK for all citizens who call this fine country their home. There is too much fear and mis-trust we need to better understand the desired goals of all in Congress and alienation won't help compared to prudent and honest communication. If our house is divided it won't stand to improve the country.

The Congress of the UK has come under some criticism for being inadequate recently and citizens in the UK are sometime largely un-informed about important Congressional matters and discussions. I will look to rectify this by being open and informative to all citizens. Let us show all how powerful a functioning Parliament/Congress can be.

I will promote Workers' Right Party policies as I form part of Government and do my best to inform and encourage my constituents to support these policies. I will also encourage respect in public dialogue to set a positive example that elevates the quality of politics in our country. This should enable a more intelligent dialogue on public issues to attract all citizens to take part. Lets raise us all above the partisanship which at times threaten to cripple our country.

Closing thoughts

This has the potential to be a challenging very negative term however also a great potential to be a very constructive positive term. I plan to be one of your member of Congress(Parliament) making this term a very constructive positive term and look forward to keeping you my constituents informed regarding my Congressional activates.
