From the President’s Desk
After the hustle and bustle of the weeks leading up to election day and the extreme activity of day 1, the days following seemed almost like a lull. And for me they probably were. But I realized something. I sat back and watched as the Cabinet and Staff started performing their duties. And what I saw was amazing. This group of people - across the board - has made the commitment to raising the bar in Government. Every single department is seeking out new ways of doing things. You’ll be reading about the changes as the Media starts flowing on a regular basis, so I won’t (spoiler) anything for you. But for my part, I’m going to keep looking for ways to lower the threshold of Government so that we can get more people involved doing meaningful things for eUSA. If you are interested in joining a highly functioning team of gamers all working for the common goal of upping our game here in eUSA, drop me a note. And climb aboard!

From the refurbished VP office
Greetings from the office of the Vice President. I spent the day today helping Secretary of Defense MaryamQ do some “redecorating” of the OSD (Office of the Secretary of Defense) at the Pentagon. The OSD is now filled with imagery of unicorns and rainbows. The OSD “block” of the building now has two marble unicorns standing guard on either side of the entryway double doors. Madam Secretary has permitted her staff however to “camouflage” their respective offices and cubicles.

Now on to my first giveaway event of this term! I will be giving away not one but two spectacular prizes! The point of this giveaway is to draw your attention to the Department of the Interior’s Habitats for Humanity Program or (HfH) for short. This is a program designed to get newer players, or newly returning players into a Q1 home.

Everyone should have a Q1 house! Why? Two big reasons: First, you will generate more profit per week by having one, giving you the ability to work twice a day. Second, it increases your energy pool so you can fight more. By being a “resident” of a city and having a Q1 house you can increase your energy pool by 100 points! Details about this program can be found here: http://eusaforums.com/forum/index.php/topic,43856.0.html

Every US citizen who comments on this article and includes the hashtag #ILoveToFly will be entered into a raffle and after 24 hours a random winner will be selected. You’ll receive a free Q1 house.

Now our second prize is even bigger a free Q2 home. Watch the national feed this weekend as one air round will be selected for the contest. Every US citizen that participates in that air round will be eligible to win the home. After the announced air round is over all names will have a number assigned and a number will be selected from a generator to choose the winner.

~In Service, LifesaverM, VP eUSA

from Salty's interview desk; former CP Pfeiffer
Salty; During your two month term, what were your highlights, also what are your thoughts on the past Croatian War?

Pfeiffer; The war is the only substantive thing worth discussing, and I think that it went well. Not as originally planned, obviously, but the manner in which it played out ended up enormously benefiting the US and our allies. We saw real coordination within Pacifica for the first time in ages, and our friends were happy to be engaged against a common foe. It will be interesting to see what else can develop there, especially given the turnover in leadership a few countries have seen.

From the Foreign & Military Affairs Desk - David Wilson
Foreign Affairs Update:

eUSA has successfully transitioned from a training war with eUK to a training war with eJapan. This time we will be keeping our resistance war regions rather than giving them back.
Fight for eUSA and get those True Patriot Medals!

MPPs with Russia and Mexico have been renewed. Greece is up next for renewal.

Editor’s Note
Not much of a lull here at the media offices, plenty of players flying about with the organizing of your media outlets and finding the time for a little personalizing of our shared spaces. Keeping up with the tasks at hand, even though interrupted with yells of encouragement and WTFs as I watch the stream of the ACC basketball tournament (and talk about flying high, my team has soared to the championship game). Want to take part in what this game is really about, our community? Contact our Country President, Gnilraps, and take him up on his offer and show all of us that, you #LoveToFly with the other active members of our community.
Secretary of Media; just another George

P.S. Do not forget the raffle and the comment needed to enter!
