Salty;
I see you’re in the AMP which is a number 7 party, and you’re a congress person. What can you tell our readers about being elected to Congress from any party outside of the usual top 5?

Evry;
Running for Congress from a non-Top 5 party requires being hosted by one of the Top 5 parties. Therefore, it's important to show your value within Congress, be very active, and form relationships with people from other parties. My decision to remain in AMP despite it's party rank is one that I've spent a lot of time considering, but I always enjoyed the party when it was more active and hope that it may make a comeback eventually.

Do you mind explaining what draws you to the AMP? Also touch upon some of the history of the party if you could?

Evry;
The single most attractive aspect of AMP for me is the people. AMP has some great party members who have had rather influential "careers" within eRep. Another thing that was great about AMP is that it had an actual party stance and ideal to strive for. Specifically, AMP was known for standing for a strong, well-funded military to defend the eUS whenever possible. That mission was carried out within Congress, from the Executive branch, and also as leaders of various MUs. I actually wrote an article back a few months ago about what attracts me to AMP.

I agree with that, community is what makes this game fun. A quality article on the AMP.

My next question pertains to your working on the CBO. Now for the readers that don’t know, what exactly does the CBO do, and how does it benefit the eUSA?

Evry;
The CBO, (aka, the Congressional Budget Office) is an organization created by Congress, that works for Congress, to hold and distribute the Nation's money. Similar to Real Life, in the eUS, Congress holds the proverbial purse strings. Congress is required to vote on any funds to be spent on anything. The CBO (which has a few directors, myself included) does the functional transferring of funds in-game when necessary.

There are great benefits to owning a Q1 House, especially if you live in one of our 41 states with a Town, which maximizes the Houses’ durability and minimizes the property tax charged to activate the House.

Houses of any quality grant you a +20 energy per hour bonus, allowing you to refill your energy pool faster. Houses also increase the size of your energy pool; 50 extra energy in your pool for a Q1 House. Houses also grant you one overtime ticket per House per hour - for every 24 overtime tickets, you get to work one additional time per day.

Assuming a daily wage of $360, easily obtainable in the USA right now, you would earn $352.80 after work tax at 2%, or $2469.60 per week. Purchase a Q1 House at $1630. Not only is your energy pool larger, but you can now work twice a day, earning $705.60 after taxes, or $4939.20 per week. Subtract the price of the House, and you still clear $3309.20, almost $840 more than working once daily. Plus, you were able to fight longer in Air Battles and refill your energy faster.

This example does not take into account the durability bonus, which depends on the state in which you live. Factor that in, and you could earn up to $4297.04 over the life of the House. Buy a Q1 House. It’s worth it and will increase your effectiveness and profitability.





There is $$MONEY$$ to be made out there for eUS Citizens in Air Battles. This is also a good way to know where to fight. (Hint: not against Estonia)
