PP Elections...What do
Secretary of Media Paul Proteus

It's that time of month again

So, looks like it's PP Election time again. Actual vote will be on the 15th in two days, and there'll be another WHPR out then, but best to be prepared before hand.

Now there has been a lot of talk about Unity elections, and a pretty good article in that vein can be found here from Mr. Frost. This ties in pretty well, the way to eliminate the PTO threat and make Unity elections obsolete is to vote. Regardless of your opinionon any of that, we can all agree that voting for America and against the AFA is a pretty easy way to save the country, so hopefully I'll see all of you on the 15th rocking the elections.

Also, like the past several months, before you vote, make sure to join #voting on IRC to get ATO (anti-takeover) instructions to make your vote as effective as possible in ridding this country of the PTO~

Remember, it is extremely important that your vote count, joining #voting on the 15th before you vote allows ATO to help coordinate votes and beat the AFA led PTO in as many elections as possible. If you don't coordinate your vote, you may waste it voting in an election that's already been decided, so be smart, save America:

-Join #voting
-Ask for instructions
-Save America

If you can't make it to voting, but still want to aid the ATO effort, make sure to message DHS guy Kody5 for instructions.

Now for the purpose of general information dissemination, here are the T4 official PP candidates:

Feds - BigCDizzle

AMP - Free Area

WTP - Hale26

USWP - Othere

So yeah, here's to hoping for a great election day~

Keeping up with Congress
Secretary of Media and dSoH Paul Proteus

Congress...what do they do? This has been a great question of our time, asked by many, and now, finally answered! Turns out they do a lot~

We're pretty sure this logo at least proves they exist

And to expand upon what that all is (you know for transparency and stuff), The Speaker's Word has been revived. Now you too can understand the inner workings of Public Congressional Proceedings.

Seriously though, for all of you interested in following what your Congress is doing (You did vote for them after all) make sure to subscribe to The Speaker's Word. Keeping up with that paper in tandem with this one will help keep you informed as to both the actions of the eUS executive and legislatie branch.

For those of you who don't want to click the link, the latest Speaker's Word details the first two weeks of the 65th eUS Congress, which mainly includes MPPs, Budget, eROC NAP Renewal and discussion on...the budget ^^

Also I heard the guy who's now writing it now is pretty cool <_<

Foreign Affairs Update
Deputy Secretary of State Derphoof

Foreign...too foreign

It’s been an interesting week, hasn’t it?

In military and foreign affairs, there’s been some news here at home with our most recent military mishap. First came our glorious collective harassment of Serbia. The military organization US-AIM and the USAF worked together to free several regions from Serbian occupation. The biggest victory of the day was the RW in Aquitaine, France, as it was Serbia’s rubber region. The plan was to go invade the region when it was RW’d in order to deny Serbia of their rubber bonus. However, as many of you know, things did not go according to plan...

Serbia came out of the gate NE’ing France, but we were far behind.... by several hours.

Needless to say, Serbia regained the region and our PotUS came out and apologized for the delay. Now we have an NE against France and we are slowly taking their northern regions, keeping the NE alive, in the hope that we can RW Aquitaine again.

In other news, Greece has made some new friends in TWO, signing MPPs with Hungary, Poland, and Spain. The one curious exception to their new TWO-centered MPP stack is obviously Serbia. However, Serbia came out to clarify why they haven’t proposed an MPP with Greece. Their answer was classic Serbia: Bonuses.

In their latest press release, they’ve stated that, “By signing MPP with Greece without good preparation, Serbian bonuses, in the long run, would be threatened.” By signing an MPP with Greece, they see Croatia, Macedonia, and Bulgaria as becoming instantly hostile towards Serbia. Therefore we can clearly see that Serbian bonuses are more important than the blossoming friendship between Greece and TWO members.

How Greece responds will be an interesting thing to keep an eye on. Be sure to watch foreign media over the course of the month as more conflicts of interest arise as some former EDEN nations attempt to join TWO.
