[WGC]: Presidential Elections: Final Elections

Day 778, 01:58 Published in Canada Canada by hawkerhunter07

Wow... This has been a great election. Here, at QNBC, we haven't seen such great competition between two presidential Candidates since the famous Dominik vs. Bruck election. For the first presidential elections of 2010, we can say it has been one of the greatest elections of eCanadian history.

QNBC has once again, thanks to WGC colleague Adasko, provided a live elections coverage on the #eCanSP IRC Channel

From minute 00:00 of day 777 (was this a sign?), Derek Harland and Jacobi have raced for the first place.
At no time, one would outdistance the other with more than 30-35 votes. At first, Jacobi was in the lead, but then, by midday, Derek Harland outrun Jacobi with an increasing vote difference, which got to 26 votes once. Then, Jacobi showed his secret weapon and starting closing up the vote difference, until he outranked Derek, though not by much.

Harland fought till the end, and was able to keep the vote difference extremely small. As a matter of fact, at 00:00 of day 778, the final verdict was out:
Jacobi has won the election, with a slight margin of only FOUR VOTES.

- Jacobi (CSD/CPP/TAP): 573 votes (46.93😵
- Derek Harland (DAL/CPF/UN/CFP): 569 votes (46.60😵
- patar333 (CEP/DCP): 79 votes (6.47😵
Total votes: 1221

4 votes.... 4 votes was what separated Derek Harland from Presidency. 4 votes are what made Jacobi president of eCanada for the 6th time. 4 votes... could have changed History.

Congratulations to Jacobi for becoming Prime Minister of eCanada for the record of 6th terms!

Congratulations to Derek Harland who was able to truly challenge the "Jacobi Phenomena", and offered us a wonderful election. Good Luck Derek for the February presidential elections!
