The villagers gather around the scottty the nuke statue to hold their elections. For the first time ever, they are civilised enough to use paper in their elections. Thanks to being the only literate villager, Dr Hugh Jardon wins the election with a massive 76% of votes, while his opponents received only 31%. He then introduces an anti-corruption bill, which stops anyone who is not the mayor from committing any acts of bribery.
The villagers then turn to the less civilised task of lynching off a fellow villager. There are some crazy calls for no lynching, but the voice of reason soon takes over and the yelling and finger pointing associated with killing someone in this town takes over. However, it seems the villagers just can't decide who to kill out of Binda and Ranger. They turn to their all-knowing (literate) mayor, who sums up their choices, before instead pointing at Claire Louise. The villagers tie up Claire Louise and take her to the peak of Mighty Mount Flatty, before preceding to roll her down the mountain, when she doesn't die, they carry her up again and roll her down, they declare that to survive the 20m gentle slope down the Mountain, she must be a witch. And burn her at the stake.
They later discover that she was neither witch nor werewolf. The villagers are mildly disappointed about this, but are mostly just happy that they got their killing fix for the day.
Claire Louise the villager was killed.
