[VoeH] About our war against Cyprus

Honourable players around the world!

As you might have seen, Hungary proposed an AS on the saudi-arabian territories of Mexico a few days ago. We managed to land easily and after that, we conquered a few mexican regions on the Arabian Peninsula.
After we got a border with Cyprus, they proposed the NE first, mainly because we had other plans before the cypriot war. However this meant that we had to face their attack first, so this way, we count this as a victory for them. At least because this was the only cypriot win in this campaign and we don’t want to take that away from them.


The first battle was hard and we wouldn't have been able to win it without the help of our friends and allies, we saw many players from many nations tanking for us. You did an amazing job and you showed once again that despite the propaganda and political games, the most powerful force in this game is still friendship. We'd like to say thank you to everyone who helped us, and you will always be able to count on us when you need any help.

After we grabbed the initiative, we've won battles after battles but the day before yesterday, we had to face an other problem too. Hungary built up a great colony system in the last few months, which means we have several RW surfaces. As it was expected, our enemies tried to take the advantage of this and opened 5 RWs at a time so with the Burgenland RW, which was already running and the cypriot direct, we had 7 ongoing battles. I literally don't know that how could we win 7/7 battles but without any doubt, it was an amazing job from our people and from our friends once again.







With these wins, we cut this campaign short and now, we can freely say that Hungary was victorious.

Unfortunetly, my joy wasn't unclouded. I was really sad when I saw the cypriot MoFA's article about us, I was sad because with that article, Cyprus lost much more than a war.
Despite that normally a MoFA represents a whole country, I think that in this case, it was only his, and not the whole nation's opinion. eRepublik is all about loosing once and winning at the other and I'm pretty sure that we will have several wars against each other in the future, and if one time it happens that we lose against them, we won't be angry or sad because we know that Cyprus is a good enemy, and we will know that we won't rest until we take a revenge on them again. Because eRepublik is all about war, but we shouldn't forget to respect our enemies almost as much as we respect our allies.
