[Very Important] Remove the Mandatory Minimum Wage Limit![Open Letter]

Day 961, 05:50 Published in Serbia Turkey by SpreXX

Greetings to the administrators and citizens of the eWorld,

The passage into V2 has brought turmoil to the economy as we had already predicted. But one fatal programming mistake may be the most serious of them all:

In V1, the minimum wage applied to the wage that one earned the whole day. The hardcoded minimal minimum wage was 1.00 for all currencies.

In V2, the minimum wage applies to *each single hour*!

As a result, the minimum hourly wage that can be paid to any player, regardless of skill level, is 1.00 in all currencies.

That means, a firm who opens a job offer for 1.00 to skill 0 players can have to pay up to 12.00 XYZ to a worker who has actually produced close to nothing!

Consequently, no private firm will open job offers for skill levels 0-4 in most countries.

That means either hyperinflation, or no new players. Both results are unsatisfactory. They are prone to break the game completely.

THUS: Please either remove the minimal minimum hourly wage which is hardcoded to the system OR set it to something reasonable such as 0.10 in all currencies.

Best regards,
Kemal Ergenekon
eTurkish Minister of Economics
