Some of you may have notied that Bob Turkee is being impeached. This article will help you understand why.
Not too long ago a drain of money in the Norwegian bank was noticed by government officials. Politicans with access to the bank started looking through possibilites of who could have taken the money, and we ent up realising the robber most likely was no one else than our own president, Bob Turkee. One of the most desecive proofs being the bank´s notification bar showing the message which appear when you try to donate more than 10 gold to a player. No need to say that Bob Turkee´s name was in that notification, so we do at least know he made a unlogged and unnotified transfer of gold to himself. Due to the listed information, and lack of a court, we have decided to impeach him and have him explain himself when he returns.
How will this effect Norway?
This was a critical blow to the Norwegian economy. We lost over half of our currency, being 1.000.000 NOK. Else than that, not much will change. We will get a new President. Most likely Steinar Rydgren Torkildsrud as he's second in line. If he declines, the congress will have to elect an unofficial President, or an Exiled President as they're called in eRepublik. This will bring us a new cabinet. I for example will have to end my four-month streak as a Prime Minister and resign from Ásgárd HQ taken I'm not brought in as extras.

Akashaton is right. Bob Turkee hasn't been seen in over a week now. Also, we should send one ticket, not have everyone sending tickets. Admins ignore mass-tickets : /

Money has previously been returned in countries like Germany, but they always have to send the President on it, so I don't know if -we- should.
Portugal had the same problem one year ago and they get the money back, good luck 🙂
The current president needs to write the ticket. It helps to have a screenshot of that Gold Transaction attempt. If it was up to me, all national orgs should have fully and open transaction lists (almost like they did in version 1 of eRepublik).
I am very sad that Bob took this step. It is extremely selfish and low. Some people play this game for them selves - some people play for the community. I'm personally offended that Bob flipped the Norwegian community the finger, even if it's "just a game".

I don't have confidence in the new president. He is IMO on this position only to say that we have a president. Looks like what Steinar will do is nothing and Norway will have no congress in 6 days.
But the worst part now is that Bob wants to be president again! Isn't Norway heading to big political crisis which may benefit PTO-ers from Serbia and Romania? Hopefuly not.
Moreover I put under question now if Asgard really cares about Norway.
