[UPub] Class List & Opening of the University

We received dozens of applications for students to come in to the University of Publius for our inaugural semester. We denied over 60% of those applications. We did this for a couple reasons, but the biggest reason is that we want to keep class sizes down. Quite simply, classes are meant to be interactive between Professor and student. The less people we have in a class, the easier it is for students to be heard. Another motivation was that we can place more impetus on the student to show up for classes. If you're going to come here and sit around and do nothing, we will kick you out. To those who come to class, engage in the discussions and actively work to further our country, you will be awarded with a diploma at the end of your semester (tentatively scheduled to be six weeks long).

To those who got denied and wanted to be admitte😛 I'm sorry. We had to cut somewhere. If you got denied, it was most likely because we didn't recognize your name. For those names we didn't recognize, the first thing I looked at was your newspaper. If you're not actively writing and I don't know the name, you have no real ground to stand on. I'm hoping to improve the process next time to allow students to, if they want, submit a more in depth application to help us as we admit students. If you got denied this time, I still encourage you to apply again.

To those who are accepted (your name is listed below), classes will begin in about a week. You will be getting a PM from either your Professor or the Interim Dean (Joe Newton) regarding admissions details. Tuition to attend UPub is completely subsidized by myself and PENIX Inc. We want this University to be free to all those who want to attend for the considerable future.
