Battle Results
Because neither eUSA nor eCanada has a declared war on eUnited Kingdom, eUK has been “swapping” eCanadian provinces after they have been captured by eFrance as a way of blocking eCanada or eUSA from attacking in the direction of France. Canadian territories currently occupied by eUK (and thus currently unable to be attacked) include Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Nunavut, Prince Edward Island and Quebec.
In an epic battle that went into overtime before a winner was decided, I regretfully report the loss of California to Indonesia. More than 1000 citizens have been displaced and many who live throughout the country and had jobs in California may have to quit to work elsewhere. France has also conquered eCanada’s high-grain, high-wood, Q5 hospital province of Alberta.
Portugal has succeeded in conquering eUSA’s high-wood region of Tennessee. Russia was unsuccessful in yesterday’s attack and eUSA has secured our Q5 hospital state of Kansas.
In Europe, France secured their Alsace region from attack by Switzerland. Switzerland has also launched an attack on Italian-occupied Romandie. Brazil has attacked our ally, Spain’s Canary Islands.
In Africa, a resistance war has been started in South Africa’s Brazilian-occupied Limpopo region.
In Asia, Russia has conquered North Korea's Hwangae region.

** From California, Indonesia has just launched an attack on Arizona.
Although Russia did not conquer Kansas, they used their front in North Dakota earlier today to attack South Dakota. Portugal simultaneously used its front in Georgia to attack South Carolina. Russia has also used their front in Colorado to launch an attack on eUSA’s Canadian-occupied Utah. France is again attacking Canada's province of Manitoba.
At this time, citizens are asked to defend Manitoba. Military personnel may have different orders and are to follow the orders issued by your chain of command.

Would you like to contribute to the war effort? Would you like to learn more about how to play eRepublik? If you are not currently part of the eUS Military and you want to learn and do more to defend North America, then consider joining the military by enlisting in the eUnited States Training Division (TD). Once you’ve graduated the TD, you should have enough knowledge to go in almost any direction you want in eRepublik. If you want to further your military career, you can move on to the Home Guard or other military divisions and will be able to request free weapons to repel the invaders and increase your rank in the military more quickly. We need your help and so do our allies! Make your mark on the eWorld today and enlist in the eUnited States Training Division today, the best eRepublik training program in the world!
The war has led to a spike in applications to the TD, so you may not get an immediate response because many people are applying. Citizens are asked to remain patient for assignment to a platoon leader as soon as logistically possible.

No comments from the White House slamming the use of voter movers and sniping votes in the last minute in the Congressional Elections then?
So much for certain people and parties doing what they can for their country.
I was just wondering, but I was under the impression that Idaho and Montana were under Canadian control and have been for several days. Correct me if I am wrong but those two states should have had elections right?
I may not understand the situaion in those places though as I am all the way in Florida and am worrying about Portugal being my neighbor.

America is losing population currently because of the loss of California etc. The main problem is that America is not able to replace our population at all because the game will not let you register as a new player in the eU.S. If the developers do not respond to my ticket and fix this issue I will be certain that in a time span when other invites of mine have signed up to be in many other countries, the registration email for e.U.S. never went out because the developers want the e.U.S. to be dominated. Sad times and makes me question whether it is worth spending my time. The funniest part is that the people they are blocking are all gamers who have spent real money on virtual products but they can cut off their nose to spite their face if they want.

I don't mean to sound like the n00bs who are complaining 24/7 about the war, but I'm hoping to see some more offensive maneuvers soon. Losing Cali is a hard hit and we're getting chewed up from the inside. But let's not lose hope. Let's keep up the fight and take back what is ours. We'll win this yet!
We need to stop this war before the United States is controlled, I say we try to sign a peace treaty before we lose too much

This war hasn't been lost yet. Losing California is a blow but there are still means to win this war. We have to unite, quit squabbling and fight the enemies on our fronts.

@Lilac My "loyalties" aren't with eUSA it's with peace, and since I see no apparent attempts of stopping this war (the only attempts I see is to keep fighting)I can't help but think that eUSA will only be occupied between the other countries and I don't want to live in that kind of place, so I fear I must leave eUSA in hopes of finding peace elsewhere

Armadildo: Considering you moved to Russia (which in the last week has invaded several nations in numerous attacks), your arguments are completely invalid. It's not peace you really want; it's PEACE.
America and our allies: We need to work together with each other and with our faithful allies; cooperation is the only chance we have. If everyone is only out for themselves against our common enemy, the result is loss for us all. The time for debating the necessity of mutual cooperation has passed and the reality is here. Only unity will prevail.
It's just unfortunate that we have such uninspiring and almost mysterious leadership. I find myself almost ready to move on to some other browser game. This is the time when the president needs to be out there rallying the troops, but all I've heard is that he "regrets losing California."

Just as with James Harding in Hawai'i, maxpayne50 is the congressman for Georgia. He received 3 votes in the election before it was claimed by the Portuguese on Election Day.

I think what we are seeing is eAmerica is only able to win one major battle at a time. This would not be a problem if we weren't going against nations with such large populations.
I read in the past few days an article by the President stating that people shouldn't worry about how much money the government has and PEACE is spending a lot more gold than us but... seriously now. I admit I don't know the intracacies of the game mechanics, but I just don't understand the strategic value in giving up small territories to focus defense on the "key" territories (of which California was one.) If we can only secure one region we are doomed.
I know the high command can't really comment on strategy, I just think that once we have the initiative we should be aggresive on the attack and try to take the fight off continent... but maybe I'm still too noob.
And I'm thinking Harry Dick might be a one-termer...
Blaming Harry for this mess isn't remotely fair. The US and PEACE have been at odds for a long time. Irresponsible actions on behalf of our allies (The Sweden-Germany conflict, and the loss of the UK government to PEACE, as examples) have put us in a bad position that no president could have dealt with quickly. Honestly, these attacks were timed win unison with the citizenship module release, making me more than a little irritated. In a sense, that's even more ridiculous than any PTO, wonderfully enough. We'll be lucky to make it out of this mess alive, and unless the admins wanna pull a Deus Ex Machina, it's not likely to go much further. But I'll stick around for as best I can, but I might move to Ireland when this is all over. We'll see.
well, I've been quietly observing what goes on, and let me tell you, I can't really see the purpose of these pretenses. All I HEAR from eUSA is some kind of vague talk about hanging on, and it being a long fight. What I SEE is eUSA being DECIMATED....QUICKLY! I'm sure there's a whole lot going on behind the scenes with the tiny % of players who are in control, however, to my "leaders", please stop peeing down my back and telling me it's rain. Also, I think the most telling piece of agitprop I've seen so far is the line in this post saying that its somehow the developers jingoism towards the eUSA that is to blame for our problems...of course, there are no problems because we just need to hang in there, its going to be a long war.

@mjdiv I moved to eRussia in hopes of the same reason I moved to eUSA in hopes of ending this conflict, so far I'm doing a lot more in hopes in peace than the nations presidents combined, they are all out for blood
