[UNL] Elections - Congress - November 2009




Hi,

Yesterday, citizens were called to vote to elect a new congress, as each month.
This time, we had only 5 regions, as we lost Flanders and Brussels.
There were 7 seats per regions and 5 wildcards.

Here are the results of the election :

Iron&Wine
> I&W : 13 seats , 81 votes.
> Evolutions during the day : 8 - 10 - 11 - 9 - 11 - 11 - 13
> 32,5% of seats for 23,41% of votes

TheBelgianParty
> BP : 11 seats, 82 votes
> Evolution during the day : 9 - 12 - 11 - 12 - 11 - 12 - 11
> 27,5% of seats for 23,69% of votes

Libertarian Social Democrats
> LSD : 08 seats, 61 votes
> Evolutions during the day : 13 - 9 - 10 - 9 - 8 - 8 - 8
> 20 % of seats for 17,63% of votes

Green Liberal Democrats
> GLD : 06 seats, 51 votes
> Evolutions during the day : 7 - 7 - 5 - 7 - 7 - 7 - 7
> 15% of seats for 14,73% of votes

Libertarian Party
> LP : 02 seats, 18 votes
> Evolutions during the day : 3 - 2 - 3 - 3 - 2 - 2 - 2
> 05% of seats for 05,20% of votes

Active citizens
> 346 votes, 39,36% of presence


The first party in seats is Iron&Wine, and so i asked the party president of I&W, Mitch Rapp, to lead the negociations to make a governmental coalition. I officialy appointed him as "formateur".

edit : I have received a pm to say that my numbers were wrong, but only in votes. According to this site, http://ea.liberwing.com/index.php?act=elections&country=31&parties=on, BP received 98 votes, LSD 92 votes, I&W 86, GLD 59 and LP 27.
