First of all, I'd like to apologize because I won't be able to have this article translated into Hebrew, since it is quite late at night and elections will run for just 24 hours so, I know there's been some tension lately as to which language we should use, etc. I've always used both Hebrew and English for all official articles and so on and will keep it that way (clearly, today I'll make an exception).

Apart from trying to convince you to vote for my as Country President, I'd like to take this opportunity to officially launch my new party: United Israel.

Before you start reading our policies in detail, I'd like to summarize some of the things I'd like to do as Country President in the shape of a cool ad 🙂 :





Ok let's get started!:

Economic Policy

We will propose economic plans that are suitable for the game-mechanics
that means, doesn't matter if u are right or left, we will only implement things that will actually work in game.
Things like kosher store may be a good idea irl or to raise taxes, etc.
in this game, it can have a negative impact on our economy.
so we won't be bound by RL ideologies.
but rather focus on what works based on the game-mechanics.

We will also strive to keep taxes to a minimum and let the market forces set fair prices.
We won't raise the minimum wage or raise any other taxes under an Israel United government.
We will lower all taxes if we can (VAT, Import, Work,) etc

We will also propose Trade Embargoes against countries to blatantly show hostile behaviour against us or any kind of hatred.


No More Subsidies = LOANS! \o/

United Israel will implement a sustainable scheme to supply aid for those wanting to upgrade their training grounds
and other things. Spending hundreds of golds a month in subsidies it not sustainable at the moment and erodes our reserves.

That's why we will create the Israel National Loan Corporation = INLC, which will be a government-sponsored Bank.
Its purpose will be to finance with low interest rates some of these upgrades and in some cases it may offer some
small subsidies through the Government.

This will incentivize people to be active. Also if someone doesn't pay their first loan (.e.i level 1 to level 2) and
asks for a loan a few months later to upgrade from 2 to 3, the Loan Corporation will reject this application as the person would be blacklisted.

This will make people actually log in everyday, and work for it if they want to keep getting loans in the future.

The idea is to weed out and not waste money on people who may stop playing the game in the future after receiving
subsidies as it has happened in the past.

Foreign Affairs

Foreign Affairs, our goal is to defend Israel's interests in the region and throughout the e-world.
That means all decisions we make must have some kind of benefit for our country.
We currently support Nebula Alliance, as a force for good in the world that benefits Israel's community.


Domestic Affairs

The United Israel party believes the only way to promote the game and keep all the citizens active is to actually
get involved in campaigns. That means, setting up training wars and joint strikes every month so that we can
keep up with our citizen's needs in this game. It is also very important to advertise on other websites and
forums and even run facebook ads. We will also strive to have a very active Ministry of Education and a tutorial
available for all the new players, both in hebrew and english.

We will also Implement MoFUN (Ministry of FUN) to keep our players happy by doing contests and award events.

I will support the Citizenship Agency as it is. We've approved the law a few terms back and so far it's working great!


Defense

Under an United Israel government, The Ministry of Defense will establish a cross-Military Unit communication
link to set priorities and channel our damage. We will also set Nebula- Israel Defense Forces as the main
Military Unit, Tironut, as the official newbies military unit and Sayeret as the Elite Unit. All 3 will
be included in the citizen's message and will be actively promoted by the Government.
We will also seek more cooperation between the defense council of Nebula and our Ministry of Defense.

We will strive to find ways to supply our army if we can.
