Regulus di Leo for East of England Congress!
Hello everyone,
My name is Regulus di Leo, and I'm a member of the United Kingdom Reform Party (UKRP). I am running for Congress, and I'm here to tell you why I think I deserve your vote.
Previous Experience
I’ve been playing eRepublik for over a year and I have gathered quite a lot of experience in that time. Soon after joining the game, I enlisted in the UK’s military where I continue to serve in one of the best regiments it has. Now, I feel it is time that I help my country in some other way. I’m eager to start what will hopefully be a prosperous political career. I’ve got only one goal in mind, to make sure that the UK shows its true potential. The only way to achieve this is through reform. That’s what the UKRP is all about, but we cannot do it without your help.
What can the UKRP do for you?
The purpose of this article is not to make a simple enumeration of our party’s policies (which, by the way, are stated here, http://wiki.erepublik.com/index.php/United_Kingdom_Reform_Party/Policies) but to show how we get things done in the UKRP and what our principles are.
We in the UKRP have one word that summarizes our way of doing things, commitment. Our members understand the true meaning of being a MP; we are your representatives. Some people tend to forget about this. After making numerous promises during campaign, they disappear and forget their roles once they get elected, only to reappear the following elections. I can guarantee you that no UKRP’s MP will behave in such a deceitful way. We want above all things to make this game fun and gripping, that’s why we encourage our members to actively help newer players during their first days. I’ll gladly guide and give advice to anyone, you need only to PM me and I’ll sort out your doubt as soon as I can.
To conclude...
In closing, I can guarantee you that I will be a very solid MP this month, deeply involved with my duties. I will work hard to preserve the greatness of this glorious nation and to guide the UK, with the aid of my fellow MPs, out of these dark times. Thanks for taking your time to read my manifesto.
