Chapter Five
A New Generation

The new year of 2011 saw new beginnings for the UKRP. Michael Crookes was elected Party President in January and February and his premiership saw the beginning of a new golden era for the the UKRP. Though the party still lagged behind the Unity Party, the party was once again unified and working together.

In the February elections the UKRP came joint with TUP in the Congress elections with both parties claiming eleven seats each. Sir Humphrey Appleby returned as Party President in March and in that months elections the party claimed sixteen congress seats, three more than TUP. In April Thomas765 won a heated Party Presidential election against GLaDOS and the UKRP again returned more congress seats than TUP by thirteen to twelve.

An anti-takeover effort in May saw a mixed election, but in June under Michael Crookes the party won fifteen congress seats, five more that the old enemy, TUP. This kicked off a period of UKRP domination in congress, seventeen seats were won in the July elections under Thomas765. This Congress success was transferred into election success with Lionbeard elected Country President in August.

The success began to fade after Dishmcds term as Party President in September, but the party remained relatively stable for the rest of the year.
