[UKRP] Philosophy with Rob #2: ESO is a Fabrication of My Mind

Good evening, I've gotten bored and started reading a Philosophy textbook again. I know, it's awful. Prepare yourselves for a new theory about the eWorl😛

First I've gotta explain Russel's theory of Sense Data and how that leads to scepticism, fun times ahead for you...

Everything you see is mediated by your senses. The colour blue isn't a direct property of an object, you just perceive the object to be blue due to light getting funky. Objects aren't heavy, you perceive their weight based on how much of a weakling you are. So you, good sir, according to Russel, know nothing about the true nature of objects in the physical world, only interpretations and data provided to you by your senses. This funky world view is called Indirect Realism.

Assuming you're not completely lost at this point, that theory actually leads to a rather terrifying conclusion (a conclusion which poor Russel didn't actually mean to reach). If you can't see the true nature of the world at all, and everything is sense data, and the senses can be deceived (See: hallucinations, Illusions, 'time lag' (google it)), then we can't know anything about the world. Then, how do we know it even exists and that it is not merely a fabrication created by our own minds? We do not.

Therefore this world probably doesn't exist.

Now that's pretty cray cray.

There is, however, one thing I know for certain. I know I exist. I know I exist cause I'm thinking, I'm perceiving all this sense data and stuff. I think, and therefore I exist. It's where the phrase "I think, therefore I am" comes from.

So I know that I definitely exist, but everything else might not.

So what? Well, you see... I literally am UKRP:

Based on the theory that "I think therefore I am", this means that in the eWorld UKRP is the only party that certainly actually exists.

Meanwhile, ESO is merely a figment of my imagination.

So, if we go back to my previous article, Anselm proved the following when proving that God exists:

This therefore means that UKRP is in fact the greatest party in the eUK as it is the only one that isn't purely a concept created by me. So join them, not ESO, ESO members don't exist in reality.

See now that's a pretty good point, however if you look deeper into the meaning of great you'll find that a gassy booty is having a greater effect and holds greater power than a conceptual booty, therefore still making it greater.

Also flaw I think therfore I am was created to show that one cannot prove anything exists bar oneself. Therefore it is in contridiction with both God and UKRP existing.

Being part of robs imagination sounds pretty cool... But voodoomikes party reviews nominated us the best party in UK when we where only half the size we are... Therefore we are now twice as cool and due to this information I must disagree with the part where you say eso isn't the Gratest party in the world :/

Otherwise it's completely possible that we are part of your imagination designed to haunt you 😛
