[UKGov]UK Today #5 - An Interview with King Woldy I

Hello and welcome to yet another edition of the UK Today, the less popular supplement to the seemingly popular “Guide to…” articles! Today is the 2nd anniversary of the coronation of King Woldy I so it seems fitting to interview him. I haven't had much time today, so apologies for another generic interview!



1. How's it shaking?

Good.

2. What have you done since becoming King one year ago today?

The Royal office for the greater part of this year has engaged in charity in new-player help schemes and tutorships, as well as generating fun and entertainment for members of our community through forum games or off-site mediums such as supremacy or steam. We also made podcasts (MORE DUE SOON).That and stood around and looked nice.

3. What do you say to those who wish to turn the eUK into a republic?

Anyone found to hold treasonous views are to be sent to the syrup mines of Canada. We need to get that written in the statute somewhere.

4. Are you afraid of the inevitable uprisings?

No. Let them eat cake, and then they will become contented and mellow. Thus is the gift of good cake.

5. Who wrote 'Rule Britannia'?

It was a joint collaboration between Mozart and Elvis written for me on my tenth birthday after Viscount Nelson made a bet that Elvis couldn't write lyrics over the course of brunch to a tune Beethoven had made up the previous day.

6. What does Magna Carta mean in English?

I believe it translates as 'disregard this'.

7. Are you prepared to rule for another year? If so, what do you want to accomplish by this time next year?

I'm not just prepared, I'm divinely appointed. I want the Woldean Royal quizzes to make a reappearance, to expand the Woldean Royal Welcomes and Young Achievers schemes, and to generally remain awesome. Give me lots of gold and I'll make a royal guard MU or something, idk.
