[UK]Saturday Update
10 Downing Street
For the most part, it has been a quiet weekend. I believe Rex got both Spaniels neutered this weekend, although I'm not aware of how they are doing. Maybe they won't be quite as loud.
All kidding aside, if you've noticed that I have been a little more absent than usual, it's simply because I'm dealing with some unforeseen challenges of my own. Not quite the best time for them, but we deal with them nonetheless.
Let's talk about the only thing I'm guessing you want to know about, which is whether or not Ireland becomes a full on war, or training war. By vote there were 5 MPs that voted for war, and 4 against, after 4 days of voting. For the MPs that were honorable enough to go on record, I would like to thank you.
I've never hidden that I disliked Ireland's foreign policy (always at arms length), and how it has always seemed to be at odds with the UK. You can try to say that history does not apply, but I say you're wrong. Our history is what makes us, what defines our future. I personally do not hold any one person to account, and do not expect to give any sort of satisfaction. I do hope, however, it gives the UK, it's allies, and likewise in Ireland, something interesting to do.
If you look at the raw numbers, given that our allies in France are landing as we speak, Orion and the UK should be victorious. A lot of that I believe will be up to you. If we buy into this, we should be able to win. If we treat this like one of our elections, there's a risk involved.
Until tomorrow night,
Dishmcds
President of the United Kingdom

tbf after you wrote the voting article a lot of congress took it upon themselves to tackle whether having a vote was actually a good idea when you'd sort of kept your cards close to your chest and not made it particularly clear what you wanted to do.
If you'd said more explicitly "I and the govt/orion/my cat would prefer x option" you'd have had much less of a confusion, and congress would've likely whacked a definitive yes or no through with very little issue. In general they tend to prefer to be handed an idea and told by the idea giver whether it's actually a good idea or not. After that, congress will either agree en mass or commit mass rebellion, bar a couple of dudes.
As soon as you pump out a couple of conflicting ideas and make out like you don't particularly care, nothing really gets done 'cause a bunch of people without strong opinions of their own aren't going to do a lot when they can't see whether it'll help or hinder the govt, or take the option of "well I don't care either please choose for me". So then people go "well wtf do YOU want to do CP man" and it at all goes a bit wrong.
At least it's clear at this point, I suppose.
when only 9 out of 40 vote, then their is a problem with the voting system
Or the electorate...
Off to War we go!
eUK's history is mostly international backstabbing and domestic pissing contests.
So let me get this straight - eUK has turned a TW into a direct war based on the views of just 5 people and if France are defeated we're going to be alone against Ireland who can easily outspend us (1m budget in just 1 air round). Unless I'm missing something here, this seems like a perfect way to get Wayne and his mates in power.
>losing a war gives wayne power
????????????
I think he means, by continuing to be shite, people will start to clamour for a real leader. Someone with proven ability. Someone good looking and witty. Someone like me!
I'm already powerful enough, Paul. I don't actually need the buttons in order to get eUK to dance to my tune.
I'll be back, just got my Uni and dissertation proposal results and such so I have been chasing rabbits in the fields. I intend to write an article later today 🙂
