[UK]Let's Talk Options

Day 3,493, 21:12 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by 10 Downing Street

Good Evening;

As many of you know, we've had our challenges with a cohesive Congress in the recent past. I think thus far this term we've had some good dialogues, so those who are voting should be happy knowing that many of your representatives are active in Congress, and it's been nice to see all sides trying to at least discuss our directions. We're not quite decided on just about anything yet, although we have had some good dialogue. It's a start.

That being said, while in Congress we're discussing MPPs and our Foreign Affairs. It's important to note a few things have come up that I'd like to open up to the public as well so your representatives in Congress are making informed based on your opinions.

As we continue to move forward and click, you might notice that you see a fair amount of Natural Enemy proposals, all of which (to now) have failed, although this one might just work. Originally, the NE proposal from some 6 weeks ago was supposed to be for our training war, to offer us the 10% damage bonus. It has been rejected to now based on dislike for Apples and not feeling informed.

In that sense, let's talk about geographically where we're at:

1. The only two realistic options for direct invasion would be Ireland, who we're on good terms with but not allied to; Belgium, who we're in a ceremonial union and any invasion would be hard due to Latvia's presence, and the US, who we're also on good terms with.

2. Airstrikes are very fairly expensive, and are high risk/high reward. We're limited in direct damage, unless our tanks wants to open their private purses (which we know that can, and will for the right reason, but it'd be very costly to open one thinking it's supported and then not show up). We'd also be limited on targets there, too.

So, open to the public, which do you prefer? It's nice to be safe, and secure, as I'm sure those who spent months under occupation will say, but there's also a bit of fun to be had on the unknown as well. The general consensus right now is to go have some, but I'd also like your opinion.

I'd also like to know that if we propose the law it'll pass. That'd be great, too.

Regards,
Dish
