Join the new world

As you all know by now, has lately been a "revolution" in eRepublik.
With this in mind our dear Plato responded to all citizens in the new world.





Dear citizens,

Today I have posted a pop-up to announce a 10 Gold per day limit to donations and purchases in the monetary market a few days before this rule applies. I am sure that you have already seen that some citizens were upset about this. So I consider necessary to give you some further details concerning this feature. *

- The monetary market and the donations module are highly used by a small number of cheaters to transfer illegal money from fake accounts, the vast majority of multies use donations and the monetary market to launder ill gotten gold.

- 6,8% of all citizens have used the monetary market in the last 90 days, in order to buy Gold for national currency

- 4,7% all citizens have donated Gold in the last 90 days

- All these citizens have bought/received 6.2 Gold, on average, in the last 90 days.*

- only 0,3% of the citizens have bought or got via donations more than 10 Gold in one single day

Based on these facts, a 10 Gold limit will satisfy and cover the needs of 99,7% of citizens and makes cheating much harder.

eRepublik is a game where discussions between players are possible in various ways: by having a newspaper, by writing feeds or commenting them, by using private messages or by sharing ideas, suggestions or complains on the forum.

Few games have all these channels, few games offer players the possibility to express their thoughts in such a manner. Of course, we all have to also respect some rules, in order to keep a level of decency within the game.

But when some of the players abuse these channels to try and harm the game, in that moment I need to intervene and protect all citizens as well as eRepublik.

As a result, all the Presidents that proposed the new message law today, clearly trying to harm the game, their countries and the prospects of new citizens will be permanently banned, as this this is a direct attack towards the future of the eRepublik World.

Keep in mind that any other citizen that tries to harm the eRepublik game will also be permanently banned. It does not matter if you are a President, Congressman, Media Mogul, Customer, Military Hero or a very old citizen! If you are in disagreement with an eRepublik change you are free to say so constructively in the forum or leave but not to harm the game and the experience of other citizens.
