How to run for Congress ?
To run for Congress you have to be min. 15 lvl (100 exp) and be a party member. Once you meet these requirements, go to the party and choose RUN FOR CONGRESS.
You can then choose the region in which you will candidate and put a link to your presentation.

The deadline for nominations are 23th day of the month, 0.00 erep time, after that party presidents confirmed candidates.
Only the top 5 political parties (based on number of members) will have candidates for the Congress elections!

It's recommended to inform your party that you are runing for congress and ask for there support.



Congress Elections

Congress elections are held every 25th of the month. The Congress has 40 members, and these 40 candidates were evenly distributed by region, and the rest are wild cards.

Example:
So if eEgypt has 6 regions, each region then by going 6 candidates (40 /5 = 6) [and 4 wildcards].

Wild cards are the most successful candidates from all regions in the number of votes, and who do not fall into the Congress.





How do I vote?

On election day you will have to do following:

What is the task of congressmen?

Congressman is a person who is not only representing he's party, but he's country also. He needs to work in the service of their country and should be a diplomat. During his term, which lasts about a month congressman has available 2 types of propositions. Congressman can not go out of the country, because leaving the country loses the status of congressmen. Also Congressman is bound to vote if there is a proposed law, and participating in debates in Congress and congressional channel section of the forum.

With every law, there must be proposed a DEBATE. All Congressmen receive a message when it proposed the new law and have 24 hours to vote.



Proposing legislation

Each congressman is entitled to propose two laws, and may propose the following types of law:

The President may nominate any of these kind of law one day, and all the Congressmen can vote for or against their adoption.
