[TUP] Party Conference and NPF
Talon Karrde
My Friends,
We in TUP have been hard at work over the past few days discussing the current sad state of the eUK. The totalitarian regime seems to have brought nothing new to the table; in fact they have found exactly the same issues facing the nation as before, and done nothing to rectify anything.
As a party we decided to discuss what could be done to make the country the best it possibly can be. That has taken the form of party conference: A few days of suggestions and discussion by party members, followed by some proposals being drawn up, and finally a vote to either endorse or reject each proposal.
We think these aims and policies are great, and are the best course for the UK to take. They're also democratic; our CP candidate Mr Immanuel Kant will be running with these policies forming the basis of his manifesto.
I think when you're playing a role in erepublik it is important to practice what you preach. That's why I felt it was important to take the policy creation to the party. If we're asking them to vote for a platform I think it's important they have a say in its creation. Can other parties say the same?
We're united in our commitment to democracy.
Look out for MIK's manifesto article tomorrow for details on what exactly we are fighting for!
And now for NPF!
Welcome to this week’s edition of New Player Friday! Each week the Ministry of Education will be posting an article filled with useful information and fun for the whole country.
For those that don’t know, every Friday anyone that has signed up to the eUK receives a message welcoming them and giving them a few missions to complete in order to earn some cash. This has been working really well so far and has definitely upped our retention rates.
This will be continuing, with the addition of these articles to help welcome new players into the eUK community at large. One of their missions will be to comment on this article, and I’d like everyone to get involved in welcoming them and getting to know them as and when they do.
We’ll also be posting links to guides and any programs to help new players, like the NHS. If you have a program you’d like us to include then comment below or send us a PM. We’d be delighted to bring attention to any scheme that helps our newer players!
Some of us have been around for a lot longer than these new players, and we’d like to give a couple of incentives to older players to read and participate in these articles too. So with each article there may be games, competitions, challenges and rewards available too. The bigger the buzz and welcome we can create around these articles the better!
As always: Unity is Strength!

Direct democracy is definitely the way forward. Well done to the TUP members that made suggestions. They're now party policy!
Decisions are made by those who show up.
"We in TUP have been hard at work over the past few days discussing the current sad state of the eUK."
Olololol 😂
Also " The totalitarian regime seems to have brought nothing new to the table"
Guess you RAF people are not in the newWar warning messages with the priority, CO and supply graphics and info what will start on day 3911? That is kinda new and useful....
Paul Tyndale (The RAF commander) asked to be excused from changes.
There are TUPers in other units so they would probably of shared.
Also I am reworking the graphics as Frag pointed out a technical issue with the hosting
Yeah, don't use Imgur.
So........saying you're hard at work.............details to be published at some point in the future...........rah rah democracy but only for TUP not WRP or other parties on your side........unity is strength
Same old same
What? o.O
>"they have found exactly the same issues facing the nation as before, and done nothing to rectify anything."
1. Lack of activity
Launched a coup which has resulted in numerous shouts, comments and 46 articles in 12 days. Heck, even the discord channel is actually now being used.
2. War
Second TW installed but that not being good enough we've now got our AS on the burner.
3. Lack of coordination
New military message system in effect.
4. Communication bottlenecks
We now talk directly to the citizenry regarding changes to TWs, Resource rentals and determination. When we make a change to agreements we seek out the citizens effected and compensate them not expect them to deal with it.
5. Mongress being a cesspit of abuse of power, spam and a source of instability
Mongress now has no function \o/
6. Handover of powers doesn't exist.
Legacy PM group keep the movers and shakers informed.
7. Taxes
Government now takes the absolute minimum necessary and cuts its cloth accordingly.
There are no more fights over who is responsible for 'x', no programs have been stopped, no money has gone missing and there is zero discrimination, stereotyping or moralfagging in todays UK.
Found it!
