Firstly, I want to say a huge well done to all new congress members - On the whole, it was a clean race; but yet again there are some naughty little scamps buying votes; plzydothis?

I'd also like to congratulate all of those who put in work with me, down at The Unity Party, we showed the UK that today, when we work together, we are a force to be reckoned with: a big mention to Iain Keers, Coram_boy, Mr Woldy and Stefan1992 for their assistance.

The Unity Party - 18 Seats (-1)
United Kingdom Reform Party - 7 Seats (-3)
Peoples Communist Party - 6 Seats (+2)
Radical Freethinkers Alliance - 7 Seats (+1)
British Empire Party - 1 Seat (0)
Free Democratic Party - 1 Seat (0)

As you can see, The Unity Party is a clear leader: it accounts for more congressmen than the UKRP, RFA, BEP and FDP - combined. Our beloved comrades at the Peoples Communist Party also had a brilliant night; increasing their tally of congressmen by 50%!

I would like to personally thank each and every voter this term: you have stuck with the TUP through times of change, and today, I am proud to not only represent you in congress, but lead you as we fight to create a better UK for all.

As some of you may have been aware, a naughty scamp by the way of Dan Moir did something rather odd yesterday: he changed our National Chat Room. Why would an upstanding member of TUP, minister, and long-serving congressman do such a thing you ask? I would like to contend it was a block, but that would be stupid.

What I can confirm, is that this was in fact a security measure designed to test how effective congress can be: as we all know, bugs occur - this is no different. When you have ~10 proposals up, congressmen seem to stop getting notifications; hence why turnout is only 50% in this vote. We knew of this from past endeavours, and decided to test the security measures which we installed last term; alas, even though half of TUP voted no, it seems that other parties MPs were simply too busy doing other things; no need to worry - this shall be rectified today, as soon as admins fix the bug which does not allow you to re-propose the original chatroom!

why are you being like that? Can't you be nice?!?!

You may notice that a certain individual managed to get in to congress. Whilst we have flared in the past, my role as Party President versus his role as Par- OH WAIT. Yeah, so anyway, I just want to repeat my past points: anyone who seeks to undermine a minister, by spreading pointless rumours, is not only undermining themselves, they also undermine their own party, as well as their own country: who suffers from partisan politics? The country as a whole.

I'm not going to insist we all be friends; quite frankly, there are people who really don't like me; and the feeling is mutual: being friends would be a charade that is just as damaging. But what I am suggesting is that instead of using people as a tool in your quest for legitimacy, you instead use the normal route of politics: a clear, concise message, engagement with the electorate, and perhaps even a shred of intelligence now and then.

Oh, and congratulations to that guy who used to do something but got really mad at us all so moved to America to be with people who wouldn't argue about Q2 hospitals or do silly things like block a country using the most expensive region on the game to attack, who managed to get elected at last - admittedly his only opponent was banned, but I'm sure you will all agree this does not detract from such a heroic victory at all

Lots of love,
