Hello and welcome to a special edition of the Toiler. Today will be different than the previous two articles in content. This article will be presenting an interview between another player, Joam02 and I. The objective of this article is so that the audience can get to learn about one more leftist movement in eRepublik and gather a larger sense of the internationalist struggles for all rising players and of those fighting against imperialism.

I would like to make a note to the reader that this article will be repeated in total of two times. Since Joam speaks spanish, there will be an English section [EN] and Spanish section [ES]. Please read the section you are most comfortable with.

Una nota por los jugadores quien estan leando este articulo. Esto es un entervista entre el CP de eVenezuela y PP de PCeV con mi, un journalista de el partido "Socialist Freedom Party"; que somos una partido politico del la radical izquierda que incluye a los eAnarchistas, eMarxistas, eSocialistas y cualquien persona que son interesado el la radical izquierda en general.

Now onto the interview with Joam02

1. Bienvenido Joam02, y gracias para su tiempo para hacer este entrevista. Comenzamos con su introduccion a todos, digame algo sobre usted. Por ejemplo, cuanto andas jugando este juego?

Bueno Saludo a todos, gracias por la invitación a esta entrevista (la primera que me hace por cierto xD ) Mi nombre es Joam soy de Venezuela en la VR tengo 20 años y entre a eRep hace 4 años mediante una publicidad en Internet y desde entonces me he quedado en este juego teniendo algunos lapsos de intermitencia por cuestiones de trabajo, me llamó mucho la atención las posibilidades que el juego ofrece en cuanto a Geopolitica y su modulo social que me ha permitdo conocer grandes personas a lo largo del mundo en estos 4 años.


2. What are some challenges you experience as a player in this game?

Si hablamos de dificultades actualmente creo que muchas mas de las normales desde que gane las elecciones a CP el pasado 7 de Noviembre, ser CP es un algo dificil que te consume mucho tiempo VR y donde debes estar pendiente de cada detalle, sin embargo tengo un gran equipo y una gran comunidad que me respaldan. Por otro lado creo que vendrán para mi muchos mas retos ahora en el plano Internacional ya que fui nombrado recientemente SC de la Alianza ANDES, algo que se que no sera fácil de asumir y mas siendo CP de un País, pero para eso son los retos, para afrontarlos y salir victoriosos 🙂


3. Usted pertenece al Partido Comunista eVenezuela, nos puedes explicar mas sobre el partido?

El Partido Comunista de eVenezuela (PCeV) es un partido radicalmente de izquierda, el partido de izquierda mas longevo de eVenezuela, somos pequeños en militancia pero con una gran historia que nos antecede, hoy apenas ocupamos el 6-7mo puesto del Ranking de partidos políticos y aun nos mantenemos con vida quienes seguimos en el sin abandonar nuestros principios.


4. Que te hizo elegir a ese partido y siempre estabas dentro ese partido?

Buena pregunta, cuando llegue al juego, el PCeV era el único partido que se mostraba radicalmente de Izquierda en toda eVenezuela a diferencia del resto y por eso llamo mucho mi atención desde el primer momento ya que desde los 15 años (para aquel entonces yo tenia 16) me había interesado mucho por la política y por la corrientes de izquierda, gracias a un libro llamado "Las Venas Abiertas de América Latina", luego leí textos del Partido Comunista de la VR, Karl Marx, Gramsci ( y pare de contar xD ) debido a cierta intriga que me causaban las constantes criticas que se le hacían al socialismo de aquel modelo que iba naciendo en mi país de mano de Hugo Chavez. De ahí mi inclinación a las corrientes de izquierda y sobre todo las comunistas y el porque me uní al PCeV en eRepublik 🙂



5.Quiero preguntar algo sobre su historia. El Dia, 3635 en su periódico “Horizonte Granate”, usted escribió un articulo describiendo su plataforma como candidato por CP. En ese articulo hablaste sobre la “liberacion” de eSlovenia y mencionas la alianza “ANDES” en ayuda de su pais contra eSlovenia. Nos puede decir mas sobre ese época contra eSlovenia y que es la alianza “ANDES”?

El tema de eSlovenia es un tema extenso sin embargo tratare de resumir, al momento de publicar ese Articulo en mi periódico habían pasado unos pocos días de que eSlovenia dejara libre los territorios eVenezolanos el cual era el ultimo ePais de nuestra alianza que se mantenía aun ocupado por alguna potencia de ASTERIA

Lograr esto no fue fácil, fuimos el primer ePais de eSurAmerica en recibir a ASTERIA como huésped no invitado y con eChile como único aliado potencial en la region, pero se fueron hilvanado una serie de hechos como la (Disolución de SYNDICATE, salida de eArgentina de ASTERIA, y luego una invasión de ASTERIA a eSuramerica) estos 3 hechos que ocurrieron de manera aislada y en diferentes momentos, sirvieron solo como catalizadores de lo que luego se llamaría ANDES.

ANDES surgió del encuentro, de la necesidad de libertad, de un proyecto mutuo y de que encontramos en nosotros mas similitudes que diferencias, algo que empezó como un movimiento de auto-defensa para sacar a ASTERIA se convirtio en un proyecto social de alcance eInternacional, creo comunidades mas grandes y solidas como en el caso de eArgentina y eChile que impulsadas por aquella dura guerra pudieron traer de vuelta a grandes players que habian abandonado el juego. ANDES fue la piedra angular de nuestra liberación y de la creación de un polo Geopolitico propio, independiente y de confianza mutua.

Las guerras de liberación propuestas desde ANDES empezaron por eChile, luego eArgentina, eParaguay, eBolivia y por ultimo el gran bastion de Colonel Bruce en eSurAmerica (eVenezuela) donde ANDES y Collin brindaron todo su apoyo bélico y diplomático desde el primer momento donde finalmente después de 1 año y 4 meses de ocupación, Bruce se resigno a marcharse por cuenta propia, mientras toda la alianza seguia dispuesta a sacar a Slovenia de eSuramerica, aun a sabiendas del degaste de luchar durante meses contra las 2 potencias del juego eSerbia y eRomania.

6. Gracias por su respuestas a este punto. Quiero terminar con unas preguntas sobre el presente, osea con el ahora. Cuales son algunos problemas o dificultades en eVenezuela?

Algo que nos afecta en gran medida es la incapacidad de adquirir Packs como los demas jugadores de eRep por restricciones cambiarías VR, lo que nos pone en cierta desventaja con respecto a los demas ePaises. Aunque en términos generales, actualmente han disminuido los problemas en eVenezuela en gran medida, la salida de eSlovenia de nuestros territorios ha creado las condiciones para reactivar el ePais en cuanto a lo político y a lo social se refiere, ha habido un buen numero de jugadores que volvieron y otros nuevos que se han sumado, como eComunidad creo que los retos y dificultades mas que todo parten de organizar el eEstado después de tanto tiempo bajo el letargo sembrado por ese Wipe de eSlovenia, retomar la actividad de los Ministerios, la difusión constante de información, la entrada economica y la reactivacion de las UMs serán clave para esta nueva etapa.

7. Que esta haciendo su partido ahora para resolver esos problemas?

Lamentablemente tengo que decir que actualmente poco o nada se esta haciendo desde el PCeV en estos ámbitos, pero se que si sale algún proyecto social desde el Partido, el mismo sera respaldado por todos, uan cosa trae la otra, ojala esta nueva etapa nos brinde un despertar político mas alla de la participación en elecciones 🙂


8. Cuales son sus planes, si tienes, para el futuro de eVenezuela y del partido?

Planes? Creo que me cansaría de comentarlos jajaja 😛

Para eVenezuela, sentar las bases de un nuevo eGobierno que trabaje para todos y sea impulsor del ePais en cada modulo que ofrece el juego (economico, social, militar, periodistico), ademas formar una nueva red de RREE que propugne la continuidad de los tiempos de estabilidad que hemos logrado después de la salida de eSlovenia.

Desde el PCeV, personalmente busco la expansión y colaboracion eInternacional con los demás partidos de izquierda o de orientacion Comunista, tengo excperiencia en estos procesos y creo que si queremos cambios en el juego que beneficien a las mayorías debemos empezar por unirnos en un solo bloque, donde debatamos una serie de propuestas viables que podamos presentar a PLATO y que quizá con su nuevo proyecto de "Plato Foundation" tome en cuenta dichas propuestas de la nueva eCom

9. En conclusion; vamos tener gente de mi partido, SFP y tambien del eUSA leyendo este articulo. Hay algo que quieres decir a ellos?

Bueno antes que nada agradecerte a ti por tu paciencia y dedicación para hacer esta entrevista.

A los del SFP un saludo y abrazo camaradas, ojala mis palabras puedan servir de motivación para que pongamos en marcha ambos movimientos en una misma dirección, aplaudo sus iniciativas periodísticas.

1. Let us start with an introduction about yourself for the readers, tell us a little about yourself. For example, how long have you been playing the game?

Well Hello to everyone, thank you for having this interview (the first one in fact xD) my name is Joam, I am from Venezuela and I am 20 years old. I first joined eRep 4 years ago from an ad on the internet and since then I’ve been playing this game with some lapses of activity in-between due to RL work, but the game’s possibilities grabbed my attention for being a geopolitical game and it was a way for me to meet big people from around the world within these past 4 years.

2. What are some challenges you experience as a player in this game?

If we are talking about actual difficulties, I think it's’ been a lot since I’ve won the CP on November 7th, being a CP was something difficult which took a lot of RL time, you had to be aware of every single detail. Nonetheless I have a great team and a great community that supports me. On the other hand, I think there is a lot of challenges coming up for me on the international field now that I am the SC of the ANDES alliance, something that was not easy to do and being a CP on top of it; but I think thats what challenges are for, to face them and come out victorious 🙂

3.You belong to the Communist Party of eVenezuela, could you tell us a bit more about it?

The Communist Party of eVenezuela (PCeV) is a radical leftist party, the oldest leftist party in eVenezuela, we are small in military strength but we have a great and long history, right now we are in ranks 6-7 within the political party ranks and we maintain our lives all without abandoning our principles and history.

4. What drew you into the party and were you always a member of the party?

Good question, when I came to the game, the PCeV was the only political party that showed a radical leftist platform in all eVenezeula in comparison to the rest. That is what drew me to this party since my first moment. Since the age of 15 I have been interested in leftist politics, thanks to a book called “The Open Veins of Latin-America” (Las Venas Abiertas de América Latina), afterwards I read the Communist Manifesto by Karl marx, Gramsci ( I stopped counting after a while xD) due tp my interest from hearing about the constant criticism against socialism from which a model has sprung up in my country by Hugo Chavez. From there I’ve been inclined to leftist tendencies and overall the communists and that’s why I joined the PCeV in Erepublik 🙂

5. Some history about yourself, on Day, 3635, in your newspaper “Horizonte Grande”, you wrote about your platform as an aspiring CP candidate. In that article you mentioned about being eVenezuela finally being free from Slovenia, and that you’ve been working with the ANDES alliance to fight against Slovenia. Could you tell us a little about that history of occupation by Slovenia, and what is the ANDES alliance?

The topic about eSlovenia is a lot for me to explain but I will try my best. From the moment of publicizing that article from my newspaper, there were a few days where eSlovenia would let us liberate eVenezuelan territories since we were the only country from our alliance that remained under occupation from a nation of ASTERIA.

Unfortunately this was not easy, we were the first country from eSouth America in receiving ASTERIA like an uninvited guest and with eChile being the only potential ally in the region. Yet there were some events like the Dissolution of SYNDICATE, the leaving of eArgentia from ASTERIA and afterwards the invasion of eSouth America by ASTERIA; these three events which happened independently of one another, served as the basis of which to form an alliance which would later be called ANDES

ANDES emerged from our meeting over the necessity of our freedom, forming a mutual project and from which we found more common with each other than differences, all of this which started as a self-defense movement to kick out ASTERIA, would then become an international outreach project. I think that bigger communities and cases like eArgentina and eChile , both whom during the war were able to bring in big players which had left the game. ANDES was the stepping stone to our liberation and the creation of a geopolitical alliance, independent and with mutual interest.

The war for freedom was started by ANDES. It began in eChile, then eArgentina, eParaguay, eBolivia and the final bastion of Colonel Bruce in eSouth-America, eVenezuela, where ANDES and Collin offered their military and diplomatic support from the first moment, where after finally 1 year and 4 months of occupation, Bruce finally resigned and left on his own, meanwhile the whole alliance was dedicated in kicking out eSlovenia from eSouth-America, and having to fight their supporters whom were big countres like eSerbia and eRomania.


6. Thank you for the answers to those questions! Now, onto present day in the game. What are some issues people from eVenezeula are dealing with right now?

Something that affects us in the long run is our inability to acquire packs like the rest of the eRep playerbase due to currency restrictions in RL, this puts us in a disadvantage with the rest of the eCountries - overall this diminished the problems eVenezuela had in the long run. Furthermore the leaving of eSlovenia from our territories has created a lot of opportunities to revive the country politically and socially and there are a good number of returning players and new ones whom are stepping up. Like as for the rest of the eCommunity, I think the challenges and difficulties come from the organization of the government, since we spent so much time under occupation due to the wipe by eSlovenia,

7.How is your party addressing these issues?
Unfortunately I have to say that little to nothing is being done by the PCeV in those areas. But I think if the party could come up with a social project, the rest of the community would support and this would , hopefully, create a new era of political activity beyond just elections.

8. What are the party’s current goals for the future of eVenezeula and of the party?

Goals? Well I think you would get tired of me talking about them hahaha 😛

For eVenezuela; to form the basis for a new government that works for all and grows the country in all aspects that the game offers (economic, social, military, journalism). In addition, to form a new network of RREE which will ensure the stability we have earned since our removal of eSlovenia.

For the PCeV, personally , expanding the party and the international collaboration with the other leftist or communist parties, I have experience in these processes and I think if we want to change the game to benefit the majority, we need to first start by uniting ourselves into one block, where we can debate a series of proposals which we can present to PLATO and maybe make a new project for the “Plato Foundation”.

9. There are going to be readers from the SFP and perhaps others whom are from the eUSA, is there anything you wish to say to them?

Well, before anything, I am grateful for your patience and dedication in doing this article.
