eUK Political Statistics #22

This week has seen the rebranding of the Radical Freethinkers Alliance to Spectrum, the great win (compared to previous months) of the right wing in the congress elections, largely at the expense of the PCP, who only got 2 congressmen in, and the incredibly fast increase in support for the Social Democratic Party.
One point concerning the newspaper: images from now on won’t be blurred at all. I’ve discovered that saving as a PNG doesn’t blur them (thanks Elbanaan).

Membership

Table above

As mentioned earlier, the SDP have grown incredibly recently, over doubling their membership from last week and nearing the PCP. If you look at their membership though, you may find out why this is.
The opposite can be said of the Real Spamicans, who have dropped from their short term place of 5th to 6th, and losing almost 40 members in the past week. The TUP, UKRP and Spectrum have all gone down in membership in the past week, but the PCP have slightly increased, perhaps thanks to their new set of recruitment ads, so it isn’t all bad for the PCP this week.

Gold

The UKRP are currently the wealthiest party (officially), taking 1st place from the PCP since the PCP has been spending a lot on the new ads.

Congress and Political Orientation Stats

Due to the disbanding of the BEP and the FDP, membership of all right wing parties in the top 10 has dropped considerably, to less than half that of all the left wing parties. In fact, the UKRP are the only officially right winged party in the top 10. Due to this, the high membership of the left wing and the right wing’s slight resurgence in congress, there is one right winged congressman for every 42 right winged members, but only one left wing congressman for every 64 left wing members.
The left wing are just short of a majority, partly since the PCP only managed to get 2 people, Elbanaan and bowen199, into congress. This means there is only 1 PCP congressman for every 94 PCP-ers. In the top 3 parties however, there is one congressman for between 41-45 members (depending on the party). So these congress elections were a bomb for the PCP.
The TUP managed to recover from an early wobble on election day to get the most congressmen once again.

That’s all for this week. Don’t forget to Vote and Subscribe, and check this out.
