Simple question of ethics.
I made my voice very loud on this issue.
PEACE is in ruins, EDEN can dominate.
I look for congress persons to answer me this way:
1.) Should Canada directly attack another nation and take it over to teach it a lesson with our allies?
Example: US attack France, Sweden Attacks France, Spain attacks France, everyone else attacks France. Time to kick their ass right? Canada is an EDEN ally, we say yes or no?
2.) Should Canada officially declare war on a nation and fight it through another nations MPPS
Example: US attacks UK. Canada has an MPP with US. Canadian Prime Minister writes an article declaring war and urges the entire CAF and population to help the US.
I support training wars.
I support liberation wars.
I don't support imperialism.
We're EDEN allies, we're not their slaves and we are NEVER required to attack if we feel uncomfortable or pressured to.
If our glorious allies to press forward into enemy territory, should Canada follow blindly?
I say lend them guns, tickets, gifts, send them defence systems and hospitals, but keep our good troops back.
We are not imperialistic, all that imperialism brings is more vengeance against us and with us losing our country.
Remember, history repeats itself, and this is just a warning to Congress and Canada's future leaders.
Just because we are strong, just because we seem invincible, just because we have the opportunity to smash our foes into the ground...keep to our policies and stick to our virtues.
We followed blindly into French Toast, lost, and lost our country to the events that followed.
Every opposite HAS a reaction, maybe not now, but eventually.
Stay true to our Allies I say, support them to the very gates of Hell, and never stand down and retreat.
We Canadians have a duty to ourselves first and foremost however, to never forget.
Never forget that what we do in our time of power will be done to us in our time of pain.
Canada is a peace keeper, a liberator but not a "lulz war", vengeance-seeking, blindly-following tool of destruction.
That's simply my humble view of the nation I love, of its military that I cherish.

Any way the eUSA starts will not be for territory, but for payback.
Some say revenge is a bad thing, but then again this is a game.
Banach- I completely agree with you on this point. While I am still upset with loosing eCanada off the map, I do not want to become the enemy that I despise. I say we support our allies but do not go to war.

I also fully agree with this. Lets not make it a mandate to be imperialistic. We can support in many ways but we dont need to allocate our valuable forces to fight for imperialism.

We did not deserve the loss of our nation this past summer, I think we should help free some nations of their MPP commitments. 🙂
Let's keep the cycle of war going before all our soldiers die of boredom. We're losing troops in our army as they get bored of ER and wander off.
War, what is it good for? In this game, it keeps the economy going and citizens logging in!

It is not simply a matter of being "imperialistic" or not. It is a matter of it being strategic. Getting into a war just for "revenge" opens you to many bad outcomes namely:
1- Opening a war front with the defenders MPP list
2- Country resentement - Let us not underplay this. Goodwill is a capital you built up and upon. You can easily lose this capital and its positive -read military support- kickback just as easily.
In Ages of empire, you attacked because you could and not have directly bad consequences. Here the long term consequence can be pretty bad. Persistent environment changes the strategic decisions quite a lot.

do you wonder how hungary has so many strong players? because they have balls. players in countrys like eCanada get bored as f**k just working training and talking about useless politics, people want war its what makes the game fun, so they move to a country that is willing to give them what they want.
if it wasnt for countrys like indo hungary russia serbia, this game wouldnt even be worth playing. i dont know about you, but even tho eCanada was the one being invaded and eventually wiped off the map, it was fun.
imagine an eWorld if you can, where every single country simply stayed in there original regions, like eCanada's leaders want us to. an eWorld where theres nothing but work/train and the odd training war. can you say boring?
i play this game mainly for the war aspects like many players do. i dont play to make money and talk about how our government can make better social services for noobs.

I agree John, I was ready to quit this game, then Canada was invaded, I joined the CAF, and even though we got wiped out IT WAS FUN! The struggle to reclaim our lands was epic, the solidarity among eCanadians and our allies was awesome. Now eCanadians are squabbling over stupid stuff, we're seeing election ads 3 weeks before the monthly elections, and the only things even remotely interesting that have happened in the past few weeks are attacks launched by PEACE where soldiers like me actually got a chance to DO SOMETHING. War is the lifeblood of this game, this isn't Hello Kitty Online.
Wait until the UK's MPP's expire and they have fewer of them.
I'd be all about invaded, destroying their infrastructure, then RW it back to em 😛

I say that of course we're peace keepers, but if the rest of our allies are going fourth on a "retaliation offensive", after what the nations of the fallen P.E.A.C.E have done to us, we're just going to sit here? come on Canada! P.E.A.C.E is gone, but their nations still remain. what's really stopping an event like this from occurring once more? I say if EDEN needs the man power, we need to go fourth and serve. not just sit on our arses and hand out ammo... unless our involvement isn't 100% needed for success... i guess if they can do all the work, and succeed without our military, then ok. but if our presence means the difference between victory, or defeat, then the answer's obvious canada.
Full demilitarization is our only hope. Working with our current allies and former enemies, we can dismantle our weapon industries, scrap our iron companies, and retool our gift services for the Christmas season.
Of course, that is supposed to be ridiculous. Let's keep fighting but choose our battles and enemies wisely. It's tough to keep the peace in a war game when the economy is built on it and people lose interest if there are no battles. Let's fight but let's do it smart and hit hard.
I agree with Plugson, you can't go overboard, but you also cannot sit there and do nothing... there has to be a safe middle ground!

I have several very good reasons for not attacking but they will be released in an article tomorrow...one I wrote two days ago I might add.
FWIW, the UK seems to be begging to be invaded. Both countries benefit as player boredom seems to be the real enemy. I know with a few of the companies I'm involved with, quite a few mid-level players haven't been showing up for work much this week.
We followed our allies blindly as they liberated our homeland.

Now we have a chance, we have a bigger military, and we have a reason. eUK fucked us over, then tried to take out syrup away. We should take away their highlands. Atleast take Scotland. But why the UK? So boring. They have a couple of high resource regions but nothing we don't already have. Why make some of the senior Canadian company owners complain even more that they are losing money? (even more boring than not fighting)
We need a high iron region before you guys in Congress devalue our dollar and the price of weapons jump. There aren't many high regions out there, so go find one for us to attack 🙂
