Today saw a massive turn-around from recent EDEN/Brolliance victories in the past few days, and Phoenix has officially regained the initiative.

European Theater

French invasion of Spain becomes a threat to EDEN

The French invasion of Spain, which until recently has been generally ignored, has now reached the vital Spanish regions of Cantabria, Asturias (High Iron), and Madrid (Spain's Capital). EDEN High Command however, seems to have placed these battles on a high priority, and due to this Spain is currently winning in all confrontations.

A Resistance War in North of Brazil was also initiated by the Spanish Military, and although it has just recently started, Phoenix seems to be fighting hard already winning one of the battles, and on it's way to a second consecutive win as well. Later on in the day, however, we can expect Spanish presence there to increase, and things should get interesting as the day goes on.

German counter-attack against Poland

Phoenix-backed German troops are currently attacking Saxony-Anhalt (Being won by Germany) and Saxony (Being won by Poland), as the tide seems to slowly but surely turn against EDEN in Western Europe.

If Poland manages to pull of a victory in one of the 2 regions, they will be within 3 regions of the French border, which if EDEN decides to do so, could result in France being wiped from the map.

Italy, which currently has an open border with France, is yet to make a move, whether that be by region-swap or by a direct attack on France.

Romania and Serbia/Hungary exchange blows

With Romania's attack on SGP repelled, and Serbia's attack on Banat also repulsed, Hungary launched another offensive into Crisana, and it seems that the Hungarian Military is mounting a decent effort to conquer it.

Canadian excursion into the UK stopped, Britain regains initiative

Canadian troops are officially on the defensive against the British after a recent string of victories has made them over-confident. British rebel forces have initiated a RW in the Northwest of England and British forces have launched an over-seas attack on Newfoundland and Labrador.

Estonia down to 2 regions

The EDEN-supported Finnish forces once again defeated the Estonians and have left them with only 2 regions. The Finnish-Estonian conflict is particularly bloody as it seems that both factions are actively tanking against one another.

Asia:

America conquers Southern Thailand and secures Tamil Nadu. Russia regains FER.

In the Asiatic Theatre, American forces captured S. Thailand and secured Tamil Nadu in a highly volatile tank-off. American High Command seems to have it's sights set on the remaining Serbian assets in Asia and is prepared for a potentially costly war for control of original Indonesian regions.

This is the first time in Indonesia's history that she faces the prospect of foreign occupation. One thing from these opening battles is clear however, and that is that America will be a worthy adversary, and also a historic one considering that only a year ago Indonesia had helped PEACE in it's invasion of North America.

On the Russian front, Phoenix forces won a tank battle yesterday against the American Military, bringing Russia back from it's long absence from the world map. However, all is not good for Russia as American PTOers are already preparing to take over the Russian Presidency which could thus potentially doom any Russian efforts of becoming a capable fighting force in the near future.
